A great hotel in the center of Hanau.First the most important thing: The room and the bathroom were really clean.I only stayed there one night and the room was really good. The bed was comfortable, the duvet was big enough and everything was really clean.Personally, I would have liked a slightly larger pillow and I missed a place to put shower gel and shampoo in the shower.Nevertheless, I would rent a room there again at any time.

Despite being advertised as having 24-hour check-in, when we arrived around 10:30pm the front door was locked, but lights were on, no-one answered the telephone or when we knocked on the door. We waited for 30 mins or so but still nothing so had to travel back to Frankfurt to find a hotel for the night. Was not impressed by this service.

The internet it’s terrible! It’s impossible to watch any vídeo. The courtins are small so I can’t make my room dark to sleep.
The room was clean and the bed it’s confortable, but it’s overprice for what the hotel is.

Arrival July 1st, 2024 4:00 p.mFirst shock after arriving at the hotel!!!Receptionist totally overreacting and aggressive! I observed other guests and I was also greeted aggressively and incompetently. Unfortunately it's a shame for the innkeepers, but with this lady I would seriously think about whether she should really welcome guests!

We have been coming to Riesen Junior for years because we visit my mother-in-law in the retirement home in Hanau. The rooms have a bit of a youth hostel feel, but they are clean and comfortable. Above all, we appreciate that we don't notice anything from the street there, but are very close to the city center. You can only occasionally hear the parking lot under the house, but there isn't that much movement there. We also tried other hotels in Hanau and even switched from the main hotel, Riesen, to Junior, because the peace and quiet was important to us. That works for us for the usually only 2 nights that we are in Hanau. The price is okay for the simple room, but there is definitely room for improvement. For example, it would be great to have thicker pillows, the pillows are really a'la youth hostel, totally thin and flat. Or just two of them, it can't cost the earth. Then a larger TV would also be great because you can hardly see anything on the small thing. We had a giant screen in Aschaffenburg for €15 more a night. The staff is always nice and helpful, which is also a plus for Junior.

Toilet dirty, floor full of crumbs, hair in bed. It doesn't work at all.Smoking room was designated as non-smoking. After a complaint, the room was exchanged (fortunately the hotel was not fully booked, otherwise...?).Breakfast was good, location relatively quiet and central.

Reception was super nice and helpful.Room was OK for the price.Bathroom had so-so hair on the floor and a dirty towel in the closet.The parking garage is very narrow, you have to get a coin to get in.
