It was wonderful. How lovingly we were welcomed, the furnishings, the ambience with the many candles. We were personally picked up from our campsite by Mr. Buchholz and driven home again. What a luxury. The menu was terrific. Whether the delicious bread with nut butter or mussels with water spinach as well as the soup with ramen and rye noodles or wild boar with pointed cabbage. Finally, the wonderful crème brûlée. After 7 courses accompanied by wonderful wines, we said goodbye lovingly after 5 hours. You feel at home here. We'll be back

This restaurant offered us the outstanding meal of a two week tour of Germany. At the conclusion of a long cycle tour we stayed in the small hotel section, both rooms were smart, clean and comfortable. The food was exceptional, starting with a really nice sourdough made by an ex-chef at the restaurant. The cooking throughout was light and imaginative, especially the Thai curry which turned out to be a curry with sauce coming in the form of a scoop of ice cream - disguised as a goldfish. The smoked salmon / melon gazpacho was also very good. A nice cut of properly grilled flank steak with mushrooms and tarragon for the main course. All the food could be accompanied by a glass of local Nahe wines - which were chosen well.I would make a diversion to eat here again in the future.

The Kaiserhof is (and always has been) the best and coolest restaurant in the area. The dishes are sophisticated & creative, combined with excellent Nahe wines - it's chic (without being tacky), everyone will be full (without falling into a food coma). The service is outstanding - the staff is attentive, authentic and friendly. The Open Kitchen concept is really great - even more inviting, even more personal.Always a top experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

A big thank you to Markus and his team from the Kaiserhof! We were able to spontaneously join Manic Monday last night - we were warmly welcomed and treated to great food and a delicious wine selection. The location is great - both indoor and outdoor. The entire service team was super attentive and extremely friendly - and because it tasted so delicious, we were allowed to have a second dessert.Because we weren't registered in advance, I couldn't communicate any intolerances. No problem at all for Markus and the team - within five minutes I had a different main course prepared. At this point, many thanks again to the kitchen! We look forward to seeing you soon!Sophie & Stefan from Cologne

Manic Monday! The name is not the whole program. It's probably called Magic Monday. But every other menu evening is also a pure delight. Everything is really right here. The kitchen is perfect and the service is a dream. Already at the cloakroom we were greeted enthusiastically by the manager of the house, Kerstin. Franzi and Ada again had a friendly smile on their faces as they provided expert service. Sommelier Christian knows exactly the wine wishes of his guests. His recommendations go wonderfully with the food. The magic continues in the open kitchen. Max, Thomas, Natascha and the crew conjure up a menu that couldn't be more refined and original. Chef Markus leads the evening of enjoyment skilfully and with a lot of esprit. Every single course is a fascinating surprise. Dining at the Kaiserhof never gets boring. Every course and every monthly menu is a delight for the palate and the soul.We are already looking forward to the July menu.
