We stayed as a family for five nights at the Lindner Hotel Oberstaufen. We felt very comfortable. Everything was perfect: the sufficiently large room with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom, the friendly service in the restaurant, the delicious and well-arranged food every evening, the location in the diverse spa gardens. The only little thing that could be improved: The water in the swimming pool is quite cold and - more importantly - the tiles in the swimming pool/sauna area are super slippery. We witnessed two accidents in just a short time!Overall, a wonderfully relaxing holiday in the great Allgäu mountains! We'd love to come back :-)

I can't understand some of the reviews at all. As soon as we arrived, the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating. The suite was beautifully rustic and spacious. Very nice wellness area and the food was excellent. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend the hotel! Thank you very much for the great time!

Sorry, unfortunately not and never again.Online check-in: Despite having a Hyatt account, this did not work. However, I can still accept it.Check-in, reception: friendliness is different, here combined with incompetence:We had to explicitly request the guest card. It shouldn't be the case that this isn't available immediately. However, when we wanted to pick it up an hour later, it wasn't ready yet; Reason: “haven’t had time yet”. It was also said that there were only a few discounts: please let me as a guest decide for myself. We only received the guest card on the second day with the comment “return when checking out”; That could have been said differently with the word “please”. NB: The Oberstaufen-Plus card with more discounts would also be appropriate.We also asked about food in the hotel (we didn't have half board and wanted a la carte food). We were then made aware of the half board menu, there was nothing else...Room service: Although canceled at check-in, room service was carried out. Either report not forwarded or greenwashing. Self-explanatory, we then had to actively demand the compensation in the bar, which was done rather reluctantly (had to cancel the bill and recreate it).

We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The sauna area is excellent and the breakfast was great with a very large selection. The staff were friendly and warm, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. A hotel that has its absolute heyday behind it. We had a nice holiday in this hotel, but the price-performance ratio was no longer right.The rooms are a bit dark and the lighting concept is not right.The rooms facing the Kurpark are great, the rooms facing the street and the train are quite loud.The breakfast buffet is very good, but could be more varied.The wellness area is also a bit old and very baroque and very winding. Everything is still ok but not at a 4 star superior level and for the price level.It was ok, but we won't book it again for now.

Quaint mountain hotel with a cozy wellness area :)The rooms are furnished in a traditional Alpine style, but offer all modern comforts.The highlight of our stay were the professional massages.Eating in the hotel's restaurant was also a pleasure. Regional specialties were lovingly prepared.

Positive:Rooms were big enough and beds were comfortable. The fitness area was also very good and the wellness area was very pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and had a sufficient selection.Negative:Parking spaces fill up quickly. Tourist tax is charged, but you don't receive a guest card? Very sad. I would also have expected to receive a drink or something similar upon departure. Especially when you have 8-9 hours of driving ahead of you. Not a must, but I know this from other hotel chains or hotels.All in all, it was a nice vacation, with some minor negative comments.

We've been here several times.Unfortunately, the service is no longer what it used to be.The older generation is running and working at full speed around the clock but unfortunately the younger ones are not on their toes.You can tell at the breakfast buffet or in the bar.Otherwise we are very satisfied with the hotel. As always, food was a dream.
