The three of us stayed here for three days and it was ok. After we were apparently contacted several times about the payment option not working, we were scolded for it. The room was very used and small. There were stains on the bed covers and the way the window was kept open was also a bit strange. The only good thing was the location.

Central room....this is the only positive...very small with a window that feels like being in a cage because it overlooks the roof of a house...unpleasant smell of sewage from the toilet...ventilators don't work.... .they don't know how to make the beds.....I had to ask for towels...the staff are friendly enough....there is no support for suitcase clothes on the floor..not even in the bathroom it's almost difficult for a child to turn around... .smell of mold at the entrance down and scary small stairs.....I don't recommend it high price without breakfast....and only very central.....there is nothing in the booking photos

The hotel is small and basic, but its location is unbeatable, right in the center and a few steps from the metro. You can reach many parts by walking, and it also has an excellent quality-price ratio.

Megan and Altagracia made our stay at the hotel more pleasant!!! The rooms are small, the bathroom too, but if you come to visit Amsterdam, it is not a problem, you will not be in the room except to sleep!!!

We have been staying here 2 times, the only reason is its location, the employees are well-intentioned but incompetent. We have been asking for additional pillows for days because they are paper thin. They found it on the last day. Hygiene is not bad, but it could be cleaner. The location and sleeping with the curtains open and watching the street is very nice. Ask for a room with a view above the lobby.

We had booked a room on a festival weekend, you should know that all the hotel rooms were extremely expensive during the weekend, and the hotel finally announced to us that there had been an error and that the room was rented to someone else, announcement made at 2 p.m. so we had to urgently look for another hotel for which we paid very dearly, I absolutely do not recommend it if you want to have a good weekend without problem.

Very good central location, the noise from the street depends on the activity outside, it's not the countryside either!The room was recently redone, the sheets and towels and the rest was very clean.Maybe a cupboard or a small table would have been a plus, but there is a corner at the entrance to store your things, you just don't have to be a fanatic.Extremely friendly staff, free coffee and they hold luggage if you arrive before check-in.A bit steep steps but that is the case in many buildings in the city.A group of 3 with a teenager for 3 nights, we were more than satisfied for the price and location.

Dont stay here unless you really dont plan to be in your hotel for any reason except sleeping.The Room we were in is barely bigger than the bed. One double bed and a table that is so narrow that it didnt even fit my laptop. Thats it. No closet, no further places to put your things so everything just collects on the ground. The window doesnt stay open by itself so you have to wedge something in there for it to stay open. The lamps above the bed are so close to the bed that i regularly hit my head while turning. The window looks out on a grey wall that is so close you can touch it. Black mold in the shower. It looks nice on the pictures, but in actuality its bad.Location is good, but honestly that doesnt make up for it.

If possible, I would like to give 0 stars. We booked the hotel, received a call about the beds a few hours before check-in, drove 5 hours to Amsterdam, only to be told that the hotel was OVERBOOKED!! Our room was sold twice, so Hotel Pagi booked us a room in a cheaper hotel on the same street without asking or informing us in advance (despite calling us!). We had bed bugs in the other hotel! The Hotel Pagi takes no blame, even though they had a booking error, we still paid them but had to change hotels willy-nilly. We were brushed off with standard phrases, no solution in sight!! I don't recommend this hotel to anyone! Absolute impudence.In addition, the entrance is a very narrow staircase with around 20 steps. Impossible with heavy luggage.

TO FLEE !!!! Scandalous, we had booked for 2 people and we were forced to ask for an additional place to add our disabled adult son who is Autistic, because the person who was supposed to look after him had a last minute impediment.We called the day of the reservation, the hotel no longer had triple rooms and the worst thing was that they did not want to understand given the bad comments that the establishment has on the internet (poor hygiene, poor hygiene). pigeons, seen on a wall through the room window, very noisy hotel, photos on site false compared to reality, very small rooms, no air conditioning even though it is advertised on the internet and no elevator, very narrow staircase and complicated to borrow) that we were unable to keep our reservation and we received 90% of our reservation, i.e. more than 1100 euros in cancellation fees!!!!!The establishment didn't even want to chat with us, didn't want to call us and worse, didn't respond to our messages!The hotel could have at least made a commercial gesture towards us because 15 days before our stay they would have had plenty of time to re-let our room, especially with so many people in the middle of August!!! Especially since they now have 9 days to re-rent it and we have paid for our entire stay and they are only going to reimburse us 179 euros out of 1200 euros!!!!It was the first time we booked in Amsterdam, we weren't ready to set foot there again one day given the lack of serous and the mentality!Given all the bad comments we've read about this establishment, it's a scandal that it's still open!ATTENTION ⚠️

Barebones. No AC, so be mindful of the season. No elevators, and the stairs are steep. But good beds. So if a hotel is just a place to sleep for you, Pagi is perfectly fine.

The location is great for the price but there was some weird buzzing sound in my room all night and I could not sleep at all. The beds are extremely tiny and will be uncomfortable for anyone taller than 6 feet or 183 cm. Cleanliness was not that great too and I had to wait a bit longer than expected to check in.
