Old house with very steep stairs. We booked 5 double rooms because of the location on the Weser cycle path. The furnishings in the rooms serve their purpose, nothing more. Room number 10 still seems to be the best. At least it has a fairly modern bathroom. A fellow traveler described his room as a hole. The bicycles could not be parked in a lockable room, but only in a separate corridor between two houses. The breakfast could have been more varied. Because all the ingredients had to be placed on the small tables, it was extremely cramped and uncomfortable. Conclusion: Be sure to look for alternatives. The pictures are deceiving.

The café is very well maintained and impresses with its cleanliness, which you can notice in every corner. It is obvious that this is a master company that attaches great importance to quality and details.A special highlight was the large selection of homemade cakes and tarts. Every piece I tried was a delight and showed the love and care that went into preparing these delicacies.The staff was incredibly nice and child-friendly, which made the visit particularly pleasant for families. My children felt completely comfortable and were warmly looked after.Overall, I can highly recommend the café at the Hotel Lohmann in Nordenham - it offers a combination of excellent food and warm hospitality.

Were there for breakfast with about 16 people. We waited quite a long time until we were served. After all the coffee, cold cuts, cheese, etc. were on the table, the scrambled eggs arrived, which then became cold because we then had to wait 15 minutes for rolls. The waiter was very nice but overwhelmed, no wonder, he was responsible for 3 (approx. 15 people) parties. The boss could only make stupid jokes and insult his staff. Have been there many times in the past but that was probably the last time.

The rooms are decently decorated. They are spacious, and it is not a problem to place luggage. I must mention that the staff is extremely friendly, especially Katja. We had a few questions before our arrival, she explained everything in detail and helped us with her experience. The rooms are neatly arranged every day, we enjoyed our stay there. The location is great, right next to the main station and close to shops. Breakfast is varied and abundant. They let us to leave our luggage in the hotel till afternoon, because our train was at 18.44. If we come again we will choose this hotel again.

We had a 3 night stay, good room, good bed, good shower room, excellent breakfast, advice bring your own pillow, they have very soft pillows. But the friendliness of the staff towards us was special, we felt at home. Highly recommended. We also received tips for visits in the area. The price of the stay is also not unimportant, in the Netherlands it was at least 50% more expensive.
