Location 10/10Staff 0/10 (Racist) depends on the skin color how the treat you.I tried contacting them after my review nobody answered. Then one lady picked up the call and she asked me to stop calling.Such a big name and hotel but still pathetic behavior.

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel with a child. We found the rooms to be clean & location very convenient, staff were lovely, felt safe with the main doors being accessible only with key card after hours. We were able to step out to take trams or metros to places we wanted to visit or eat at or simply walk by the beautiful canal. Red light area is just one of the adjacent canal roads so very close. The only issue I found was that the room we originally got had windows facing street side (guess it is east wing) which was very noisy with loud music (apparently this happens on random nights) and we struggled to sleep, we requested a room change and got a quieter one for rest of the nights. If you are someone who needs a quiet room to sleep then do request when you book to avoid those rooms up Zeedijk street.

Excellent stay at NH Barbizon! The experience was very comfortable, and the service was top-notch. Special thanks to the waiter, Dylan, who made the breakfast experience exceptional with his great attention to detail and friendly attitude. He was super friendly and helped start the day on a positive note. I will definitely be coming back!

The Barbizon hotel was lovely. I was traveling as a single and they couldn’t have been more accommodating. I felt very safe.

This is a very comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of the central train station. Prices are steep, but not out of line with the value. The spacious room and the many amenities exceeded what we found in other hotels.

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in.1. Check in. We paid for breakfast first on the day. Not only did the counter find a mistake, but we also paid for it after seeing that we were underpaid.2. Living with my sister, we were only given a room card, and we had to go get another one ourselves.3. The coffee cup in the room had very obvious lipstick marks. When I responded, they only said sorry and did not come to take it away.4. After breakfast, I wanted to swipe my card to go back to the room, but I couldn't get in. When I went downstairs and told the front desk, I was told that you were supposed to check out today. What the hell, it was only 8:30 in the morning and no one was allowed to enter the room?5. I got a knock on the door at around 9 o'clock and asked if I wanted to check out today. What was going on? ? ? ?6. I already paid for breakfast the day before, but I still paid for it one more time the next day. It’s been a week since I returned home and I still haven’t paid back, and I didn’t respond to my letter.7. The price difference between two calls for a taxi is very big, so the rebate is too big, right?I stayed for 3 days in total, and all the above situations happened together on the last day. I really admire this hotel.
