A bit outdated hotel, but super clean. We had room number 9, a large room with a separate large bathroom. I would book again and again. Price/performance very good. Excellent breakfast buffet with a large selection of various (including fish...) specialties. Nothing is missing. TOP Hotel...

Very nice hotel, with the flair of the past 'great times'. Which is not meant in a negative way, but rather it stands out from the stylish hotels of many hotel chains. The breakfast is very rich.The service is very nice and accommodating (just like it calls into the forest... ;) )The street in front of the hotel cannot be heard (for me) even during the week.

Very centrally located hotel in Emden. The hotel is a bit dilapidated, as are the rooms. When we arrived, the reception was not occupied. Here I had to contact the Park Hotel nearby. The first room was in the attic. Very dark and uncomfortable. However, upon request, I was given a room facing the courtyard on the first floor. The rooms are medium in size and the furnishings are a bit outdated. But everything was clean and available. Also a mini bar. What I didn't like was that the old doors didn't close properly. Here you were woken up in the morning by the unpleasant kitchen fumes. Is there no vent in the kitchen here? The rooms were cleaned, but the cleaning lady simply turned off the heating. It was very cold in the room when I got home from work. That doesn't work at all!!! Also on the second day the heating didn't work, so I couldn't sleep at night because it was very cold. The breakfast, however, was very good. The selection isn't that big, but everything is fresh. All in all, I wouldn't recommend the hotel.

An old dignified villa. High ceilings, decorated stucco. That has charm. Just a few minutes walk from Delft and the city center. The breakfast is good. If you come more often, like I did, you automatically get what you wanted last time. Class service. The hotel is connected to the Hotel Upstalboom. Everything works smoothly. I like being there.

To explore Emden, very good location. All sights were within walking distance. A historic building from the outside. Rooms, except for the old windows that are difficult to open, everything has been renovated and extremely clean. We had a large double room with a large bathroom on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet was nice and replenishments were also made.
