the hotel is perfect for dog owners, quiet and peaceful. employees are very friendly, if there are parking spots outside, but theres a sign on it, don’t hestitate to walk in and ask if you could park your car out front.

Overall I can't give it more than 3 stars. The price/performance ratio is not right here.The room facing the courtyard was nice and clean. The inner courtyard itself is largely covered with crunchy gravel and so it was impossible to miss the first guests who regularly and sometimes several times in the morning from 6:15 a.m. climbed down the steel (?) outside stairs directly in front of our window to go to the breakfast room . Climbing stairs also caused noise, although some of the guests tried really hard to be quiet. We were poorly prepared for this breakfast room ritual at reception. The manager made a very, very casual comment about this. Otherwise we wouldn't have booked the room in the first place. So there was no chance of rest and a good night's sleep. The breakfast was ok. However, I didn't like sitting on plastic cushions and the plastic tablecloth in the breakfast room.When we checked out, the employee didn't even ask us if/how we liked it. Maybe word got around that we weren't particularly happy there. The fact that we left after 4 days probably says it all.What was positive was that the manager is very committed. He responded immediately to a small criticism about the breakfast rolls and bought other rolls the next morning.

Unfortunately the house could not be described as a HOTEL.The breakfast room was also supposed to be used as a guest room with entertainment and a comfortable stay, unfortunately it was no longer lit after breakfast and it was cold.The catering/bar did not take place due to a lack of staff.You had to carry the dishes away yourself (like in a rest stop)As a result, it was not possible to play games with the children in the evening or to hang out comfortably. All that was left was the bed, as there were no tables or chairs in the rooms.There was no garden visible from the garden room, just a courtyardThe third bed was so soft that the children had back pain.The whirlpool spewed out pieces of dirt, unusable...The size of the rooms did not correspond to the picture on the internetUnfortunately, I was treated rudely when I made the complaint. Very unfriendly...Clearly too expensive for that

The hotel staff have always been very friendly and we had a great time there. When the weather is good you can have a nice breakfast outside in front of the hotel and it was always very tasty. We'd love to come back!

The location of the hotel is great and the ambience is very nice. The staff in particular were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very small, especially the bathroom, but everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good!

The hotel is centrally located and has a nice atmosphere. Our room was quiet, large enough and had a newly renovated bathroom.All the staff were very friendly, breakfast was fine. You just have to be careful not to step on a dog in the breakfast room :-)There were a few four-legged guests at the dog-friendly hotel.There is a star deduction for the “garden”. A gravel desert with stone gabions. This is neither beautiful nor contemporary.There are such great and natural gardens in Bergen and here there is such a sealed lunar landscape that heats up and offers nothing for insects.

Located on the edge of the center, good rooms, extensive breakfast, delicious.It's a bit of a shame that parking is discouraged throughout Bergen. Or you pay and if you don't want to, park outside the center and walk 5 minutes.

Unfortunately I can't leave a good review here, because for €192 per night I have to say I expected a little more comfort and luxury. The hotel looks more like an old rustic villa. The rooms are very small, as we found out, our room was apparently one of the "big" ones, so I don't even want to know how small the small rooms were! When I got into the hotel, I saw that there was no elevator, just a few very narrow stairs. Since our room was at the top, carrying our luggage upstairs was an act of hell. We didn't even start bringing the stroller up because that wouldn't have made any sense. All the floorboards also squeak and creak when you move, which I don't really like. The bathroom in our room was really poor, just a shower and toilet bowl. The sink was right in the room. The breakfast was good, I can't complain about that, but in summary I can say that I won't be booking here again and can't recommend it to anyone who values the hotel feeling, because that's not something you can find here. :-(
