Nightmare experience, we arrive at the hotel at 10.30am and the room is ready at 3pm.At 5.30pm we realize that the room is infested with bedbugs, we point it out and not only do they not change our room but at 10pm we are still discussing how to resolve it. Only thanks to voliOnLine (volionline.it), we manage to find a place to another hotel and put an end to this disaster. If Mrs. had not assisted us. Annalisa of this team I don't know how we would have solved it

Situated in the heart of de Pijp, it’s within walking distance of some of Amsterdam’s best attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether you're here for a short visit or an extended stay, the convenience of this location cannot be overstated.The price was incredibly fair, especially considering the level of service and comfort provided. The cozy rooms were immaculately clean and offered a peaceful escape after a day of exploring the city. The beds were super comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was just what I needed for a relaxing stay.If you're looking for a hotel that combines great value, a prime location, and exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend this hotel. We were unfortunately disappointed with our stay at the hotel. While we understand that the elevator malfunction was beyond their control, we were placed on the top floor and had to carry our heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs without any assistance from staff. It was disheartening that the staff did not offer to help and simply observed us struggling.Although we were aware the room would be small, the window was extremely tiny and could not be opened to allow for any fresh air, which was quite different from the images we saw when booking. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the room was not up to standard. We discovered toenail clippings in the room, and the area under the bed was left uncleaned, as it was covered in dust.Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, and we were quite disappointed with our stay.

Mice and bed bugs in the room!!!We spent two nights in the hotel. On the first evening we asked for a second duvet. The man at the reception was very rude and said he had run out and couldn't give us any. On the second night we were woken up by nibbling noises - we had a mouse in the room! When we went down to tell reception about it, we discovered we had a bed bug in our hair and several bites on our body! The night shift man at the reception didn't seem surprised by the mouse or the bed bugs! He said there was nothing he could do and that we should wait until the day shift colleague got there. The colleague was at least friendlier and more understanding than her colleague from the night shift, but of course she couldn't help us with the bed bugs. Although we got a refund, we really can't recommend this experience to anyone!

The hotel is in a good location, the staff is nice. The breakfast is especially delicious and plentiful. The only thing that should be improved is the cleanliness, and the staff in the back rooms downstairs are very loud. Nevertheless, it is perfect for a couple of nights

Unfortunately, absolutely nothing went right during our stay. We can advise anyone not to book a stay here.The room was on the ground floor at the back of the hotel next to the storage room and was dirty and extremely stuffy and hot. There was no window and it smelled unpleasantly like a cheap air freshener. The air conditioning didn't work and when you turned on the tap the shower would run too. There was also no cold water. Absolutely nothing matched what was shown in the pictures of the hotel.The second room, which we got as a replacement upon request, was on the fourth floor and at least had a tilting window, but the previous guest's remains were still on the sloping roof and we could clearly find toenails and sock lint on the carpet.After a terrible night there we canceled our stay even though we couldn't get the cost refunded.We are really extremely disappointed and have no understanding whatsoever of how one can run a hotel like this. The hotel is really way below the standards one can expect as basic needs. For just under €150 a night, this simply doesn't represent fair value for money and is absolutely unacceptable.

The staff were very friendly and the room and hotel overall was nice, and a nice location. The only issue we had is bed bugs. We cut our stay short because there weren’t any available rooms which was fine because they said they were going to disinfect our room and luggage. We believe they only gave us new sheets and didn’t disinfect our room or luggage. I don’t fault them because the bed bugs were out of their control but I do think they could’ve done better with disinfecting everything. We stayed Aug 2024 so hopefully this doesn’t happen again but I do think it is helpful for potential customers to know.

Called the same day we were supposed to check in to be moved to another hotel due to some unexplained circumstance. We then drove to this other hotel and wanted to check in there but they couldn't find us in the system, even though the Atlantis Hotel had assured us several times by phone and email that everything would work. I then called several times and repeatedly spoke to someone who apparently didn't belong to the hotel and had little idea themselves. Overall, I spoke to several people within a few hours and everything seemed very dubious. For us it was simply stressful and unclear after a long day of travel, even though we had no problem with another hotel. Then we had to go to another hotel again for whatever reason. There are a couple of stars because the person on the phone seemed at least somewhat trying and we ended up in a much nicer hotel in the center.

Like a few others leaving reviews, I experienced bed bugs at this hotel.I stayed for 6 days and 2 nights in, we had visually confirmed bed bugs in our room after noticing some bites. The hotel moved us to another room and refunded one night, but the damage was done - we're talking 50+ bites that continued to appear over the course of the week.
