I want to go to the sea! Yes, here you are directly at the marina and seaport.Modern, inviting hotel with spacious rooms. Very nice breakfast buffet and the hotel also offers a small gym and sauna.

Could not be more accommodating, I arrived late and the chef kindly made me something quickly even though the kitchen was shut, lovely room (upgraded as guest of the day), reception team and bar team helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is not bad. It is close to the beach and places like Harleem, Zandvoort aan Zee, Egmond and Bergen aan Zee or Amsterdam can be easily and quickly reached.We chose the hotel based on the good reviews and the location. However, we were very disappointed with the room quality. Easiest setup. “Stylish” probably means the black monster at the head of the bed, certainly not the chipboard desk and the rest of the furniture. It's also not entirely clear to us how one could have a bathroom like this (flaws on the walls, door, mirror..., shower hose not tightened (so water sprayed), hairdryer from the 70s (like the one in the swimming pool in the old days) and with a broken hose , silverfish on top) can be described as luxurious.It may be that the windows get dirty more quickly due to the location by the sea. However, we found all the windows to be very dirty. In particular, you could see that people were "trying" to wipe in our room.The staff were actually mostly very friendly.The breakfast was quite OK. A suggestion for improvement here would be to check and refill the jam jars more often, as guests were standing in front of them at a loss and struggling to get something out.Our room was definitely not a 4 star hotel room

Good location on a beautiful long and wide beach, nature park and small harbor as a neighborhood, small cozy town 20 minutes by car from Amsterdam, you have to keep an eye out for the neighboring industrial areas.We had 6 nights there with breakfast.There is no information about parking spaces and prices on the hotel page, breakfast for the price I would have liked more but we were satisfied with the same thing every day

We had a very nice time in the hotel and on the beach. The breakfast was as I requested because I only eat healthy :).The hotel is right on the beach and has very nice sea views.My children saw very beautiful large ships through the window or from the balcony every day and were very happy about it.Sauna was very nice and the mini gym was sufficient and good for us too 👍I recommend everyone to go and will go again 👍.

We booked a hotel for work, first of all we didn't have to pay so we had to go to the bank, it didn't matter but we got a room for 300 euros and the cobwebs, dust and everything were very bad in the room. Sent an email, they can make it right, but have to come by. Just say, share back about no, that's not going very badly, bad rooms, dirty, corridors, very dirty and pale in the carpet, sloppy, overdue maintenance, not recommended, there are better hotels for less money, so bad

The location of the hotel is very good, right on the beach.The standard rooms should urgently be renovated, they correspond to a standard from the seventies. The toilet flush wasn't working, the water was constantly running, and the TV remote control didn't work. The panels on the balcony were loose!Despite requests, our room was not cleaned on both days. There's probably a lack of staff!!

2 nights and actually quite satisfied. However, I read reviews and found during my stay that the negative points raised were NOT being improved, even though the hotel's answers promised to work on them.The most important negative point.... You sit down for breakfast, which is really positive, and you realize that I have never met a hotel that has such dirty windows. This gives a guest the feeling that there is probably not much attention paid to cleanliness and hygiene in general. Because you don't just overlook something like that. An absolute disaster for breakfast in the sun. It is not cheap to spend the night there, so the cleanliness of the windows should also be given high priority. Otherwise there is basically nothing that struck me as negative. It's very nice to be able to make coffee in your room in the morning. However, there should be 2 capsules more. Because it's not every day that someone comes along to empathize.

The excellent location of the hotel and the view of the marina is the reason why we visited this hotel for the third time over the weekend. The hotel is clean, the staff very friendly and a necessary renovation of the rooms is underway. We have always been lucky with our rooms. The quality, variety and price of the breakfast is justifiable for one night. If you were staying for a longer period of time, I wouldn't find the regular price on site to be appropriate. I therefore recommend booking breakfast before you arrive.Conclusion: We would also like to spend a fourth weekend here in the house!

We stayed at your hotel on October 29th to 30th, 2023.We were very surprised that we didn't get a standard room, but a suite with a jacuzzi!“Guest of the day” was the statement from the nice lady at reception!Thank you!!!Was a very nice surprise!Reception on arrival and check out was very niceKitchen VERY good.Salmon and side dishes were great.Steak fried to perfection!Rooms clean and well equippedEnough parking spaces, directly behind the hotel.Views of the marina and the sea.The hotel makes a very well-kept impression and is beautifully, modernly furnished.Restaurant service (in the evening) was a bit lifeless and both girls still need some support in communication...Thanks for everything!!We're coming back!UPDATE...In the meantime we were with you four more times.From September 28th until September 30th, 2024 was the last time (for this year!).It's so nice to be with you!Various employees recognize us and we are greeted that way.Very nice!The nice lady at the reception is always friendly, nice and helpful.Kitchen was again very good!You can cook!!This time we booked a suite with a sauna and whirlpool.Room was VERY nice!It did us a lot of good.No everyday stress, just relaxation!!Thank you!!!

The location is very nice near the harbor and beach of IJmuiden. You can walk straight to the beach.The hotel is a bit special. I didn't think the breakfast was that great for the price you pay. I have had better orange juice even in very cheap hotels.There is a lot of granola, but I would rather have a very good quality muesli instead of what is now available.The room is good, bright and clean.At the entrance downstairs from the parking lot there is a very bad smell as if someone dropped a bottle of cheap perfume.The restaurant does not always have room in the evening. Other guests were even told that they could not order room service either because it was too busy.I thought the amount of emails I received after booking was too high.Most of the staff was very nice and service oriented.

I recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel IJmuiden Seaport Beach and while the location is great, my experience with the room design was quite disappointing. The rooms felt outdated, with no modern technology or conveniences you’d expect in a hotel of this class. The bed sheets were uncomfortable and didn’t feel of good quality. Additionally, there was no drinking water provided in the room, which was surprising. On a positive note, the cleanliness and hygiene of the hotel were acceptable, but overall, the room left much to be desired. Would recommend only for the location, but don’t expect much in terms of room comfort.

Nice room with a great view from the balcony, great location as it's almost on the beach, delicious breakfast and a pleasant sauna area that you could book privately. Only the WiFi was bad.
