Everything was excellent, the staff very friendly. In Amsterdam in general the establishments are small. The stairs are small, fortunately I stayed on the first floor, if you have suitcases it can be somewhat complicated to climb

Communication with the hotel was great. Staff was very kind to upgrade us and was also very helpful and accommodating. Beds were very comfortable and I had a good sleep. Location is fantastic. Near to the central station, shops and attractions. The only downside was the steep stairs up to the hotel and the small rooms but I guess that’s the nature of the properties in this area. It did not bother us but it may bother older folks with mobility issues

The rooms are very small, basic. You have to make do with the space, but two people, if you don't have a lot of luggage, could be fine.It is located a few minutes from the central station, in a street full of shops and services (supermarket, various cafes).From there, in a few minutes, you can get around Amsterdam on foot, reaching the various museums.The rooms are cleaned and tidied up adequately. There is no breakfast, there is no hairdryer. The bathroom (choose the room with bath and shower) is basic but well-stocked. Hot water practically instantly, clean towels etc. The hall on the first floor is small, with always smiling and kind staff.You can enjoy tea or coffee on request, free of charge.The entrance consists of a very small door, and follows a very steep staircase of about fifteen steps, which is inconvenient with luggage or for those who have difficulty walking. The rooms start from the second floor, therefore a second steep staircase, with as many steps. The rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable.Basically an excellent compromise of quality, price, location and connections.

I wanted to sleep in this Hotel during ADE, i got various Messages from the Hotel telling me system was hacked. I never reached someone over Phone, at the end they canceled my booking althought i reached out for them. All in all a very negative experience.

Excellent location. Clean friendly comfortable for the budget traveller. Incredible location near Central Train Station. All the staff was lovely. Abepe was a great night guard. I got a great night's sleep. You can store your bags until check in.

We had a pleasant stay here for eight nights. It's in a great location near Central Station and makes getting around very easy. Lots of nightlife on the street below. Would stay here again when returning to Amsterdam

We came with a friend on a whim and we were able to choose this hotel easily at the last moment. More than perfect for our improvised night on Amsterdam. In the city center, and the staff at the reception was more than pleasant. Nickel room. I recommend.

Very comfortable space near train station to launch out and walk the city. Friendly and capable staff who took good care of us and answered our questions. Clean room and great shower. Good coffee in lobby and staff helped haul our luggage up and down stairs.

Located in the very center of Amsterdam. 10 minutes walk from the central station. Supermarket 1 minute walk away. The rooms do not face the street so you do not hear street noise, or at least ours. You have free tea and coffee at your disposal. Welcome bottles of water in the room. You can store your luggage for freeCheck out is at 12:00We had the room next to the reception, where the constant noise of people coming and going all the time to the staff room was quite annoying. Also the floor sounds and being on the first floor you can hear the upper floors when they walk.The room is quite small and you have to be careful not to bump into things

This hotel has everything you need. It is located in the center of the city , the price is very good considering the location. |The room was very small but you dont need anything else. No noise from the outside.||Would definetly recommend to others!

AVOID!!! (Bed bugs) I have stayed at Ciao Papa Hotel on 25th - 26th of August in room 407 and we were bitten by bed bugs. The hotel is nice otherwise but I am utterly disappointed by the presence of bed bugs (it seems that other people - see other comments - have pointed to that issue and it does not seem that it has been addressed - which infuriates me even more). I had no other issue with this place which I thought was quite central and okay, but the risk of bringing bed bugs home is really not worth it. I would not recommend this place except if they address this.

The accommodation was located on a great street within walking distance of all the touristy sightseeing locations. Really enjoyed our stay and the staff were extremely helpful and very lovely people. Our room was spacious and accompanied us with everything we needed. Will definitely come again.

The place is very close to the Central Station,so we could easily access to the popular places in Amsterdam. There are some supermarkets where we bought food for breakfast.|The steep stair case? That might be like Amsterdam and in our case kind staff helped us to bring up to our room.
