This hotel is not your average standard hotel. It's unusual and takes some getting used to!When I arrived on my trip, the first thing I did was look for the reception!It was located in the outbuilding, which is probably called the "stable".You have to know that it was the former old post office building, which was lovingly and exceptionally restored. This building is also the breakfast room, which has been designed to be very original and cozy. I personally found breakfast sufficient, but anyone who likes eggs in any form won't find it.Now I come to the rooms: First of all, there is logically no elevator because it is an old building. The hallway is very dark and gloomy, reminiscent of graffiti painting. My single room (affectionately called a tiny room) resembled a student apartment. It was under the sloping roof, very narrow and small, no wardrobe, I used an old chair to put my suitcase on. In addition, the room was very noisy when guests arrived in the next room at night with a loud noise.The bathroom was of the same size for a single room. But I can do without a gold-plated sink with a utopian faucet that is reminiscent of a fountain tap! I have never found anything so impractical, especially since it is completely unhygienic as the water basically splashes next to the basin onto the solid wooden board that is located under the sink. I also had to first remove the dust from the towel radiator.Well, all in all, the hotel is intended more for young people and the young at heart, not for older people who are used to the comfort and perhaps four 🌟 hotels.What speaks for the hotel is the parking lot, secured by a barrier (although the code is included), which is located directly behind the house. A closed area for bicycles and an open area with fitness equipment.Likewise the location in the very beautiful pedestrian zone, about 250 m from the center. It is also only 3.5 kilometers to Norddeich Strand.Kind regards, Judith Weber

Great ambience and totally funny room design with well-considered sayings. The staff is very friendly and I found the breakfast very pleasant. The only point of criticism that is important to me is the cleanliness. My parents and I had a larger room and dust collected on various surfaces (e.g. toilet paper holders or bedside cabinets), the trash can in the bedroom/living room was not emptied and even though I think the 2nd hand idea of furniture is great, it should be they don't smell musty and old (in this case a dresser for clothes). In my opinion, these shortcomings should not occur in a hotel. Otherwise the stay was very pleasant and exceptional.

Great location, good guest parking, nice breakfast and great, innovative rooms with a design factor! *****It was fun with you, it was a nice stay!The beds still need improvement, we sweated well in them. But the rest was great!! Some huge rooms! Staff = extremely friendly and helpful!

The hotel is located just a few steps from the city center 🚶♂️🚶♀️From the outside and inside it is a very old house with real old and new treasures that have been lovingly put into detail 🥰. When we arrived we were greeted very friendly🙂 and then a short tour was taken to show us everything, including our room. 🐕 Hinds are welcome. We have our room facing the street with a very, very large and old window. The room, but also the rest of the hotel, is furnished with many old, historical and modern items. Shower and toilet separate, but in the room and sink in an alcove of the room. The wooden floor can be heard 🫣. Breakfast is also available in the building where the reception is. Here too, many old, new, large and small objects are lovingly presented. The buffet is housed in a greenhouse... great 😊. The bench by the window invites you to look outside, linger and watch the city go by... There is quiet seating in the courtyard with a cup of tea ☕️ or coffee. The entire atmosphere is just great 🙃😚💞👏 We felt very comfortable 😚🙃🐕

Unfortunately for us it was a letdown... we, over 50s and over 60s, are no longer the target group for this hotel! Unfortunately too old... 😅😅😅Low service hotel! No elevator and just a squidgy staircase. Drag your wife's suitcase up here... 🤦🏻🙄The room has no mirror, is spartan and the bathroom is really small. Max one person!The house does not have a kitchen. So no warm foods in the morning, such as eggs 🥚!!To do this, you set and cover your table yourself!!No, the concept is no longer ours!But the bed 🛌 was really ok!

A lovely weekend spent in the north and a day trip to Norderney! Hotel is great! Nice little breakfast! But everything was great! A freezer with ice packs is available to borrow for hot days! Top! And everyone is nice!

Chic hotel, very nice staff.But what bothered me was that you have to jump to get into bed, definitely way too high, the chair is way too deep for that. Something in between would be good. Why is the switch/socket combination in the bed area really bothers me personally.At breakfast, when there's a crowd, let's say 3 people, everything is way too cramped, really cramped, in the greenhouse, unfortunately there's no ice cream dish. Otherwise it's sufficient, nothing special.

An exceptional hotel, in the city center of the north. All rooms are unique, the breakfast room also impresses with its special feature, the bicycle as a counter. Rich breakfast buffet and the coffee was always fresh from the coffee machine. The stay in the Hotel Agli will be It won't be the last for me, I'm very excited about this special hotel
