Excellent hotel, with a location both near the train station and the city center. I recommend.

Hotel with very good location.The view from the type of room I chose was also very good. However, there were a few problems.1. Confusion in the check-in processDuring the check-in process, I was told that early check-in was not possible for the room I chose, and I decided to leave a message as soon as the room was ready (female staff member). I waited until 6pm to be contacted, but in the end, no call regarding check-in was received. Tired of waiting, I went back to the check-in desk to inquire about the room, and they said it was already ready. When I mentioned that I was scheduled to receive a call, another staff member (a male staff member) checked the comment on my reservation history and said, "Oh, that's right?" I mentioned it to that extent and ended by saying I was sorry. I inquired about the time I waited and why they didn't contact me, but the answer was 'I'm sorry', and I asked the front desk again about the situation through the hilton app to find out why I wasn't contacted. However, the staff member who chatted through the app said they would understand the details and contact me, but no one has contacted me until now, two weeks after check-out. The chat staff said they would forward my inquiry to the manager in charge for confirmation, but at this point, I doubt whether my inquiry was even delivered. It seems like they can't communicate with each other.The lack of response at check-in was evident in the fact that both employees I spoke with had “student” badges on their chests. Apprentice employees? I thought the response may have been insufficient. However, in a very busy hotel with many customers, I am not sure if it is right for such apprentice employees to deal with all customers directly in a situation where their supervisor is also very busy and cannot receive help.2. Request for room slippersWhen I asked for room slippers, the first employee who answered the phone didn't know much about it and said they would bring it to me after confirmation. However, I didn't receive it until 30-40 minutes later, so I went down to the front desk again and asked for it. They said they would bring it to the room, but they didn't give it to me, so I contacted house keeping again and finally received it about an hour later. However, more than 2 hours after the first inquiry, another pair of slippers arrived in the room. The disadvantage is that requests are not shared between departments and progress is slow.Hardware-wise, it was relatively good. Although the lobby was being renovated, the spaces still used were clean.However, it is true that there were inconveniences due to the two service issues above in terms of software. Regarding item 1, I requested a late checkout from the front desk and received a 1.5 hour late checkout, so I tried not to leave a review, but there was no reply to my request to contact you, so I ended up leaving a review.

I agree with some previous reviews about the rude staff at the rooftop bar. I walked in and while deciding if I wanted to stay, I first wanted to see the view, and have a sense of the space, and atmosphere - but I wasn’t able to do so because the host kept insisting that I inform them about my plans to eat and drink before even taking a seat. I felt harassed, and decided to take my appetite elsewhere. A pity to ruin a nice evening like this with churlish and ungracious behavior.

Visited the Luminair bar here & had an excellent time, great cocktails, atmosphere & music, when leaving Dylan (concierge) was very friendly and helpful when organising a taxi for us (we had a mobility scooter with us). Will book to stay here on my next visit to Amsterdam!
