Super great hotel!! Many thanks to the bartender/receptionist/all-rounder Thomas! He took great care of us, always mixed a delicious whiskey sour for me and remembered my birthday! The breakfast was also very extensive, after the second day the waitress remembered me straight away and made me delicious and fresh breakfast bacon. On the last day there was even a double portion!Rooms are very clean and well equipped there was really nothing we could complain about! We booked through the website itself and it was a little cheaper than the usual comparison portals.

Horrible place. Bad attitude, arrived late evening that angry lady received us, telling "Baby bed cost extra 15e". After 2 weeks vacation- no one ask additional cost for a baby bed. And Mattress were horrible. As a PT - just don't .location fine in a quiet place between airport and t city. Breakfast was good

I stayed at the Arcus Hotel one night in September 2024, before the Oktoberfest, staying with my family (wife and two kids) in two superior rooms on the ground floor. I chose this hotel for the good reviews online and for the fact that it is a 4-star hotel, close to the highway and family-run; in their ad they promise that they will make you feel completely at ease. I was not interested in the SPA, but in the parking and breakfast that were included in the three hundred euros paid in advance with no possibility of reimbursement.Unfortunately, my expectations regarding customer treatment and cleanliness of the rooms were not met.As soon as I arrived in the room (which from the photos I expected to be larger) I found two body creams instead of a cream and a soap. I asked the owner to bring me a soap, since carelessness can happen. She responded to my request in a few minutes, but accused the cleaning lady instead of taking responsibility as every manager should do. I didn't like this attitude, but it was late and I didn't pay attention. Unfortunately, when we went to take a shower, we noticed that the bathroom wasn't as clean as it seemed at first glance. The sink overflow was very dirty and it wasn't a matter of a day or two of carelessness. There was the same problem under the plug too. The owner would probably have accused the cleaning lady again, so I let it go for a moment. The room, a superior, didn't have any mechanical air conditioning or exchange system; we had to rely on a fan and the opening of the window. However, we were so tired after 7 hours of travel that we didn't notice anything else and fell asleep right away. The next morning, breakfast was a great experience; everything was buffet style, with plenty of sweet and savory options. Since we had another 7 hours to go to our destination, I prepared 4 small sandwiches with 4 slices of ham, 4 slices of cheese inside 4 small rolls to take with us outside the dining room. The cost of these sandwiches would certainly be less than 6 euros. Attached is a photo of one of these.Half an hour after breakfast, the gentleman at the reception, probably the owner, said that they saw us taking sandwiches and that he would make us pay for the packed lunch at check out. I thank this gentleman for the fall in style and for allowing me to give the structure the lowest possible rating. I never expected to find myself in a four-star hotel where I paid 300 euros for two dirty rooms that would spy on me and ask me to pay for four small sandwiches.I walked out annoyed by this arrogance and turned on my heels. Goodbye, never again.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Completely unprofessional and unreliable—absolutely not recommended. I made a reservation two months in advance and confirmed that I could bring my dog. The hotel assured me it was fine. However, upon check-in, I was informed that dogs were not allowed unless they were always accompanied by someone in the room. I was in town for a concert happening shortly, but the hotel owner insisted we leave immediately. Although the hotel manager was kind and understanding, the entire situation was unacceptable, and we were left out on the street despite having paid for our stay and receiving confirmation that we could bring our dog. I strongly advise against using this hotel's services—even if you receive an email confirmation for your stay and permission to bring a pet, you might find out otherwise when you arrive.
