It was a culinary eye-opener for my partner and me. Prices are reasonable to low for such high quality food, so very good value for money. The location is clean and in good condition. The service was great, very friendly. It's an insider tip for a good meal. The main street is 600m from the lake shore. Going up is extremely worthwhile.

The picturesque half-timbered house of the Schäferhof invites you to linger with its cozy furnishings and friendly service. Chef Manfred Schwarz creates creative dishes in his kitchen using fresh, regional ingredients. The braised veal cheeks in red wine are butter-tender and wonderfully aromatic, while the sliced venison leg with chanterelles in a fine wine sauce is also a real treat. The side dishes, such as the vegetables and the spaetzle, are also excellently prepared - the potato and olive puree in particular impresses with its aromas.The wine list is appealing and offers a wide selection of South Tyrolean wines, complemented by numerous small bottles for wine lovers. The Schäferhof is an excellent address for a cozy and enjoyable evening.

If “creative COOKING” is advertised and the prices are accordingly, then the “trappings” must also correspond to this. It can't be that there are still cars parked in the beer garden, cats looking under the tables for leftovers while you're eating and sauce that has to be reordered for an additional fee because otherwise it tastes too dry. That certain “something” is missing. We don't need a repeat.

This charming restaurant is located in a picturesque village on Lake Brombachsee and impressed us with its high-quality cuisine and cozy atmosphere. The food was incredibly delicious – especially the fish, which was served boneless. But that's not all: the menu offers a wide selection of dishes. The kitchen deserves special praise for its willingness to fulfill individual requests that are not on the regular menu. The friendly service and the attractive interior in the courtyard and in the restaurant contributed to a well-rounded experiencefor a successful visit. If you appreciate good food and a warm atmosphere, you should definitely visit this restaurant.

I don't understand all the good reviews. Ordered fish fillet today May 11, 2024, it was written in capital letters in the menu and on the black board in the yard. Price just under €25, very small portion, I didn't enjoy eating it because it had 17 grets and I was fiddling and spitting out the whole time. When I asked why the fish fillet wasn't greten-free, I was told "it's not a fillet, it's a fish", at that moment I didn't know whether the waitress even knew what "fillet" meant 😅 And then instead of the table next to us, we were given the cappuccino brought together with the dessert we ordered. We thought ok was probably part of it. Suddenly the lady noticed the mistake and said no problem, the neighboring table will get hers new and we can keep it. Then we were charged for it......why? That wasn't our fault. Again the same young lady said "my colleague has already entered it into the cash register" and we have to pay for it, we didn't say anything and drank it." I was angry, the colleague did it wrong herself and said it was fine. What's the point? I paid the bill with the cappuccino that we didn't order... bottomless scam. Never come back.And one more thing, those green blowflies were driving me crazy. Very unsavory.By the way, those at the next table weren't happy with something either, and when they left they said they wouldn't go there anymore and wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone.

A lovely evening was spent with friends and good food at the Landgasthof Schäferhof in Spalt.Here the food is cooked with good quality and certainly with joy.You can taste that the sauces are also homemade.Even the hollandaise with the asparagus was perfect and handmade. The dessert “Brettel Frühling” is a must. 😋Service was as you would expect, friendly and always there for the guests. You feel welcome here 😊The price-performance ratio fits 👍🏻It was our first time here but definitely not the last.Thank you for the lovely evening and the warm service.

Yesterday we stopped here at Brombachsee after a hike around Spalt.Very nice, cozy atmosphere, friendly and attentive service.The food was plentiful and beautifully prepared, my beef cheeks in red wine were wonderfully tender, all the dishes were appetizing and very tasty. The dark beer went wonderfully with it!Prices reasonable and within reason.All in all, a well-rounded dinner, we went home full and very satisfied!Recommended!

At first we were welcomed very politely.The inn looks very nice and has a welcoming atmosphere.Unfortunately there was nothing for vegans.The food tasted very good and was nicely presented, but the portion size was really not what you would expect given the price. In my case I paid around €14 for 8 gnocchi with a dollop of sauce and a few strips of vegetables.If you're really hungry, you're definitely in the wrong place here.The service was really very good at the beginning and then dropped off a lot. It was moderately full in terms of customers. You weren't asked if you wanted anything else to drink. When paying, you were then asked whether you would like to tip another €5 (absolutely no go).When I asked if there would be cheese spaetzle, the only response was "we don't have it" (there were dishes with spaetzle and cheese. So no customer orientation here either)After eating and drinking for just under €30, I moved on, half full.

We were here for the first time today and would love to come back. The ambience is appropriate and cozy. The waitress welcomed us in a friendly manner. Reservation is absolutely recommended. The small card guarantees very high quality. I had the veal shovel and was very impressed. I have very rarely experienced this quality and I have to admit that I will probably eat it again next time. My wife is pregnant and this was also addressed sensationally. The food was adjusted so that she was also satisfied. Happy wife happy life 😊Price performance is absolutely consistent and I am happy to give the Schäferhof 5 stars.
