Overnight stay in an absolutely quiet location, well stocked farm shop, a lot of things from our own production such as honey and Heidschnucken products, also very satisfied with dinner and breakfast, would like to come back

I was there for dinner this evening. After a guided tour with Sigi and his herd, lasting a good 1.5 hours, the highlight of the evening came. The Schnucken meal with side dishes. Both the meat and the side dishes were of the best quality and I enjoyed them very much. The service was also very well organized. I can only recommend this experience. I'd love to come back.

The owners were nice people. Breakfast was plentiful. There was enough coffee but no other drinks. The menu mainly contained Heidschnucken dishes.There is a small, well-stocked farm shop. However, the cleanliness in the rooms (cobwebs and dust webs in the corners and windows), carpet not vacuumed in 5 days and many dirty corners in the bathroom including dirty floor leaves a lot to be desired. Even in a lower price category (B&B around £90) you can expect clean rooms/bathrooms!

If you don't eat snails, you're not allowed to see snails either! That's what the owner of the house wants! Oh and vegetarians are sick, he says!Otherwise everything is pretty cute there :D

We were or are still guests at the Schnuckenhof. She really enjoys the flair of the Lüneburg Heath. We really like the rustic style and everything fits here. The breakfast is also great. …

I'll put it this way: We are East Frisians and have a sense of humor.If you don't eat snails, you won't be loved that much :-)But the "industrial schnitzel", as the extremely friendly landlady described it, was bomb. She shouldn't hide her light under a bushel.The breakfast was rich and served with love. The breakfast room offered an incomparable ambience. There were no children screaming, no mothers raging and it wasn't as blindingly bright as it is sometimes in hotels. It was nice and quiet, you could enjoy your freshly boiled egg without any chatter. By the way, the schnapps was also very tasty and the friendly chat with the man of the house was incomparably soothing.Overall it was a fun short trip for us. Oh yeah... it's been almost two years, but I'm always a bit lazy with reviews.

We really liked it 😊room clean,The dining room was rustic and cozy. The food/breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The two Mrs. and Mr. Riedle were nice and also answered questions about the Heidschnucken and the various honeys that they produce themselves in their beekeeping. We had the opportunity to get to know the Schnuckenhof and its operators. We reserved places to eat something on a skewer. Previously we were able to take part in a Schnucken hike. We were able to learn a lot about the snails and ask questions about them. The hike was very nice, the man of the house is a shepherd with heart and soul. The mistress of the house was responsible for the culinary side. Fantastic, the food was very tasty, like at grandma's home. The meat on the skewer was a new experience for us. The meat was very tender and strong in taste. We thought it was very tasty. We really liked the warmth and hospitality.

Eating like our mothers or fathers, somehow we felt like we were transported back in time. Food and service like grandma used to have in the kitchen.The food is sensational and we will go there again.Roast snails are incredibly great.

Before the answer comes again, 'how to call into the forest..." We remained friendly, just complained about the atmosphere at breakfast.The room was very dark, the shepherd's shoes were standing in front of the corner bench and the hosts were having breakfast in the same room.You can do it. There are no rolls for breakfast on Sunday, and there were no other drinks apart from coffee. After my criticism that I had never experienced such an atmosphere, the only answer was "that's up to the guests themselves, we can't hire a solo entertainer.Well, in my opinion it starts with the interior design.The location is very good, room was ok.

Were here with friends for the long Pentecost weekend. The main reason was the Whitsun snack food. That was really tasty. The Schnuckenhof is definitely worth a visit. I can only recommend it
