We got there at 12:10, barrier closed. No entry from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. - lunchtime rest - okay. If an employee comes - you can stand there until the reception opens again. No sooner said than done - it's raining - we decide to continue driving.Today, after three weeks, I received a ticket for illegal parking. FairParken is the name of the association that now wants €43 for waiting 1.5 hours at the reception.We should stand there and no one said it was chargeable.I think it's a rip off!

Were at the campsite. Place is very clean, as is the toilet and shower. A fantastic environment, we were able to do a lot with the kids. We were there with our 2 dogs, they also felt comfortable during the whole run. Happy to come back!

Simply a very nice campsite. We were at the campsite over the weekend and have to say that the sanitary facilities are very clean and tidy.

We stayed on the site for 4 nights. The reception was very friendly and some information about the place etc. was also given. We were allowed to choose the parking space ourselves. The space was large enough, water, sewage and even cable TV were available on site. Depending on the width of the parking space on the site, it only takes about 3 to 3 minutes to get to Fichtelsee. The sanitary buildings were always there clean and everything worked. The town of Fichtelberg doesn't have much to offer, but other holidaymakers will certainly feel differently. We could go on nice hikes from the place and that was enough for us. We had very nice days at the campsite and we can recommend it.

Family-run campsite with partially modernized sanitary buildings (the men's toilet in sanitary building 1 and the washing up area there are missing). Plots are allocated based on the size of the vehicle, which ensures sufficient space. 1 star deduction for a missing snack bar and very limited sales, as well as the not 100% coverage and sometimes unstable WiFi connection.

Nice campsite right on the lake. Lots of options to walk around or across the lake. Starting point also for longer hikes. Had the choice between 3 locations. Very clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff, reasonably priced. Highly recommended for dog owners.

Sufficiently large pitches with a gravel surface. Sanitary facility very good and well cleaned. Rather calm. Great playground. Lake a stone's throw away. Very good starting point for hikes. Owner very friendly. We felt comfortable.

Lots of dogs - too many. At least in the playground area. I would think it would be more appropriate if the dog parks weren't right next to the playground where the children run around freely. Reception is under stress - at least that's the impression you get. Otherwise very nice place and clean sanitary facilities. Location also excellent. If you want to leave your car parked, you can do so.

Very friendly reception, everything was uncomplicated. The place is very clean as are the showers. The baker comes in the morning. And cheap. Great for hiking. Everything is well signposted.

Things are friendly but determined there. Unfortunately, the ladies at the registration desk always seem slightly stressed! Smaller places are much more relaxed...But there is the wonderfully beautiful lake nearby - be careful - you cannot see it from the campsite!!The street lamps on the square are absolutely annoying; they could really be turned off at night! Security or not. The bright light in the tent spoiled my night's sleep.Conclusion: OK for one night, nothing more
