true to dinner, which was served as a buffet,Very tasty, would love to come again.I was also served by the staff in a very, very friendly and attentive manner.So, the Michelin team should stop by there with their stars and leave at least one there too. I congratulate the great team and also the senior boss who prepared everything so wonderfully.We certainly won't be there for the last time, keep it up. BRAVO

We can't say anything about the rooms as we were only here to eat.The staff is very nice and attentive.The first thing our dogs got was a bowl of waterThe beer garden is really cozy, there are these rustic benches but also normal chairs.On Friday there was a barbecue buffet and it was sooooo delicious 😋Crispy grilled belly, chicken thighs, steak, fish, homemade bockwurst with fries, western potatoes, fried potatoes, boiled potatoes and herb quark, ketchup, potato salad and salad from the buffet

Super nice place in a quiet area! The rooms are very tidy and the food there is very tasty. Friendly owners and beautiful garden for the children to swim and play in. We slept there for 1 night before traveling on. Recommended.

Food quality and very tasty. Staff is very friendly and keeps a good eye on the guests (therefore short waiting times). The price was very fair and the Franconian buffet was simply fantastic. Here you could eat everything from Schäufele, bratwurst, schnitzel, sauerbraten to duck. As a side dish there was dumpling, fries, fried potatoes or potato salad. The offer included vanilla ice cream with strawberries/raspberries. Overall, a lovely evening where everything went as expected. We'd love to come back.

We celebrated our wedding here and we were thrilled. The service was really very good, the waitresses were very on point and gave us great support during setup and dismantling. Also a big compliment to the kitchen, the food was excellent. The room we stayed in was also very clean. It was a wonderful day for us, thank you very much again. Price/performance was outstanding, I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Did not stay over at the hotel, but stopped by to have lunch. Very friendly staff, nice and calm environment, and the best Wiener schnitzel with kartoffelsallat I have ever had. Very nice and fresh salad buffet as well.

I happened to take a lunch break there today on my motorbike, never been there before, there was a beer garden written on it - behind the inn, and it also deserves the name "beer garden", away from the traffic, a tree in the middle to provide shade plus plenty of parasols, comfortable seating and table sets , friendly service lady came immediately, drink was at the table in no time, food order was taken straight away, information was given - salad is available inside at the salad buffet to put together yourself, the "Schäufele" with a delicious crust and delicious sauce was also served in a short time , while eating, as well as when serving, the demand - whether everything was okay (that's no longer a given today!?), shortly afterwards a little hint from me - that I would like to pay (motorcycle weather was GREAT), that was also uncomplicated and done quickly!In addition to a small tip, I told the service lady that she would get an A with * from me, the star was for the beer garden location and the good and fast service!....I was neither bribed nor bought, it's best to just try it out for yourself!

We went to the Gasthof Zum Essen three times. We can recommend the food there. Always delicious 😋 excellent taste. We have always received friendly and nice service. There is also a toilet at ground level if someone is not good on foot. Parking lot opposite the restaurant.

We celebrated our 40th birthday with the family today 🥳. The food was simply fabulous. There were about 25 of us and we were all hungry 😃Short form:The food was all top notch in terms of taste and preparation, as well as portion sizes.Prices are completely okay.Details:The kitchen was on the ball - about 10-15 minutes the children had their food first (as it should be) and a short time later the dishes for the adults too.Everything was there, from carp fillet to Schäufele. And it was super tasty.I fried the carp fillet in butter, with boiled potatoes with broccoli 🥦 hollandaise sauce. It was an exciting combination and highly recommended. I usually always have carp fillet with potato salad and thought I would try something new (best decision 🤓)My wife had the carp fillet with potato salad (she didn't want to take any chances 😅) it was very good but we both agreed mine tasted better (mine was a 9/10 and my wife's was an 8/10)My son had the dino schnitzel and it was perfect portion wise (7 years old and a very good eater). He ate everything and the fries were really great 👍🏽 I couldn't try the schnitzel because he ate everything 😅 but based on that fact I'll say he really enjoyed it.The Schäufele was also excellent (I didn't try it but my father-in-law loves Schäufele and he thought it was great 👌🏽Oh yes, the coleslaw from the salad bar tastes simply heavenly here 👌🏽 prepared absolutely perfectly👏🏽About the staff:The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was active and not passive - which means the waitress went to us every now and then to ask if we had another request (without being intrusive)We really felt really comfortable and would love to come back 🙏🏽👍🏽PS: Toilets are also very clean 🤓😅👍🏽Hope it was helpful (if so please show “👍🏽”Best regardsPatrick
