Very nice and quiet campsite in the middle of nature, far away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. The place is very well equipped, with lounges, kitchen area with sinks and cooking facilities.Since the place is far away from Borkum town, you can marvel at a great starry sky here. We would like to come back.

A beautiful and very well maintained campsite. Ideally suited for a quiet holiday. Bread service perfect. Sanitary facilities and showers are a bit older but always super clean, great. We'll be back...

Beautiful, very well maintained, very clean sanitary facilities, spacious parking spaces, absolute peace in the middle of nature, bread service and not to forget the very friendly operators, the Aggen family. Thank you very much for this relaxing holiday, we will definitely be back, that's how a holiday should be.

We were at the Aggen campsite at the beginning of September and had a wonderful holiday there. The journey by ferry for caravans with cars is a bit expensive but it was worth it. The place itself is very naturally laid out, little concrete and paving, but everything you need is there. The sanitary facilities were always extremely clean. Mr. and Mrs. Aggen are nice operators but don't push themselves but are always there when you need them. The landscape is simply great for relaxing, whether on foot or by bike (2 weeks without a car).The area is great for relaxing, without the hustle and bustle and noise. Except for the small airfield, no disruptions.You can reach Borkum in 12 minutes by e-bike and there are several routes. Thank you for the lovely stay and we will definitely come again

Definitely the best camping spot on the island! Pure relaxation!Were here for the 3rd time.Very quiet and lots of nature!Had a very great parking space with a view of the dunes. 10 minutes walk to the beach. 5 minutes 2 good restaurants. 20 minutes to the city by normal bike.Infrastructure of the place can still be improved in small parts. Sanitary facilities are always tip top!Therefore clear recommendation!!!P.S. we also know the other place on the island...

Everything you need is there;) the ducks even come to the tent 😁You should pack a pot and a coffee machine is missing.Otherwise, after the rain, you can quickly get your sleeping bag cozy and warm again in the dryer.

We don't live there ourselves, but our horses are staying there for the duration of our vacation. As far as the horses are concerned, we can use everything we need. Just super chilled

We spent 14 days at the Aggen campsite in the eastern part of Borkum. The place is absolutely suitable for people who love peace and nature. The showers and toilets were always extremely clean and well maintained. The whole place is spacious. The Aggen couple are very friendly and helpful. There is a bread delivery service on site. About 300 m further there are two good restaurants with delicious food, starting with breakfast, lunch menu, coffee and cake, ice cream sundaes until dinner. We cycled a lot, to Borkum town about 5 km. Bus stop also 300m away from the square. We felt very comfortable. We would like to come back.

Once again in Borkum over Easter. The Aggen campsite is an oasis of peace and relaxation in the eastern part of Borkum. From here you can easily explore the island by bike or bus and there are nice places to stop off nearby. Whether it's food, coffee, cake or simply a nice drink - pure enjoyment and a view.The sanitary facilities are very well maintained and super clean. If you want to see geese getting up, rabbits in the large meadow or deer at night, you've come to the right place. We would like to thank the Aggen family for this wonderful place and are really looking forward to coming back next year.

Beautiful CAMPING SIZE in the middle of nature, beautiful pitches not so close together. Roll service friendly operators. Toilet older but clean shower and kitchen new and nice. Mask requirement in rooms. Inexpensive

Small and quiet campsite. Very clean, Corona rules are meticulously adhered to. Location is not ideal as you are relatively out of the way. We noticed the owners negatively a few times (e.g. no real tour of the campsite)

Friendly campsite warden. The place itself is spacious and very close to nature. Everything is green and beautifully laid out. You can pre-order delicious rolls and the like. Sanitary facilities are clean.

We stayed at the Aggen campsite for 3 weeks.We informed ourselves about the campsite in advance and our expectations were largely met.We were assigned a parking space in the area for long-term campers close to the sanitary building.The toilets - even if they were always clean - urgently needed renovation. The washhouse offers no privacy - except in the shower cubicles.There is a dishwashing house where you can also cook (for a fee). Everything seems relatively new here.It's a shame that some campers don't understand that they would like the sinks to be clean. The same applies to the toilets - but the operators can't do anything about that.Gray water and chemical toilets must be disposed of manually at a single uncovered sink.The Aggen family bustles around on the pitch all day and is always approachable. Otherwise, there are fixed office hours where you can contact the Aggen family.The bread roll service works well (order by 5 p.m. in the evening, pick up from 8 a.m. the next morning).Both the location of the course and the peace and quiet on the course should be emphasized. The operators pay meticulous attention to the night-time silence that applies from 10 p.m.We found this to be extremely beneficial.Due to the small size of the site and the relatively high number of long-term campers, there are not that many tourist sites available.Some of the sites had plated terraces for the awnings. We didn't get to enjoy this, so we got earwigs in (almost) every joint in the awning. That wasn't so nice and delayed the dismantling accordingly...Our conclusion:- a beautiful spot for nature lovers and campers looking for peace and quiet- We were happy to accept compromises in the area of sanitary facilities and sculleryAll in all, we recovered well and would vacation here again at some point.
