I can only rate the restaurant. We visited this on a weekday. A table reservation would not have been necessary. We were welcomed by a very nice gentleman. However, we were partly served by a young lady who seemed very dismissive. I certainly don't look for friends when I go out to dinner, but a robot wouldn't have done a worse job. Well, I can happily ignore cold service if the food is good. Unfortunately it didn't. I ordered the vegetarian menu and my companion ordered a steak. The soup was very good and gave me hope. The main course consisted of ravioli, mushrooms, spinach, two very rich sauces and pine nuts. Everything was fresh and even the pasta was homemade. But I found everything together to be very inharmonious. There was just too much going on on this plate and it quickly became too much for me. But what was the real problem was that the pasta was still raw. Not al dente, but raw. However, I had to wait a good 10-15 minutes before I could complain about the food. Unfortunately, after serving, no one showed up for a long time. The complaint was accepted without any problems by the male service staff mentioned above and my food was re-prepared. In the meantime, I was allowed to watch my companion eat. By the time my main course was finally served again, it was finished and I was starting to lose my appetite. His steak looked very well cooked, but according to him, it probably wasn't a highlight in terms of taste. Of course, the overall situation doesn't contribute to a positive experience. The dessert was ok. After such a faux pas, as a guest you expect at least a small compensation or some attempt to make the guest feel comfortable. Absolutely nothing. The young lady simply acknowledged the tip with a brief “thank you” and finally cleared away the plate with the remaining butter from the “greetings from the kitchen”. We were not said goodbye. All in all, we didn't have a really nice evening and will neither visit the restaurant again nor recommend it to others.

The food is really exceptionally excellent :). Rarely eaten so deliciously. The service is also outstanding: super friendly and accommodating. I was even allowed to take a spice that I found very tasty with me as a gift. Thanks again for that! That was really very nice. It was a great evening.

I had called a week in advance because I could get a table on a stopover from Lucerne to Düsseldorf if I booked a room; I was assured of this. When I made my reservation I pointed out: Small table for one person please: I had already chosen a menu for €70.This was no longer possible when checking in, they would call me immediately if a place became available. Nothing happened for 90 minutes, 30 minutes before the kitchen closed I went into the dining room, tables were free, but no one called me.They simply forgot about me or didn't feel like it anymore.Going to bed hungry.....crap.The night was loud, thin doors, thin walls, the TV only shows the first thing in a distorted manner.Breakfast was a lot of ShiSchi (rice cakes, cookies, 1000 juices, gluten-free etc...) but nothing to fill you up - I didn't have dinner. Baked rolls, minimalist sausage and cheese platter, tables not cleared. Waiter stands in the way.STOP !Checked out, no one asked me if I liked it...The main thing is that the money is right. It could have been a nice evening, but it wasn't.

A very nice small hotel with beautifully furnished rooms and a nice breakfast room. The restaurant is highly recommended. Many awards confirm the excellent cuisine. The owner serves himself and is happy to advise on dishes and wines.

A mixed experience with ups and downsFood: The food was simply excellent. The fresh rye bread that was served at the table was a particular highlight. There was an extra children's ticket for our child.Ambiance: The ambience of your restaurant is very inviting and contributes to a pleasant stay.Service: Unfortunately the service did not meet our expectations. We were your guests on the occasion of my husband and my child's birthday. My child wanted his dessert to be served with a candle. Unfortunately, although the candle we had brought was placed on the dessert, this was done without any emotion or joy. That was very disappointing.

Went to dinner at the golden anchor today. Never again 🙈we ate schnitzel. Unfortunately it wasn't homemade, the sauce doesn't work at all and fries??? What can you do wrong 🤷‍♀️a no go for me! The price paid for it was 50 euros. Totally overpriced for a schnitzel that doesn't even come out of the pan and isn't breaded itself. So tastes can be different, but unfortunately it's not for us. That was the first and last visit!!!

We booked an overnight stay here as a stopover on our return journey from Italy...We were kindly received in excellent English. We arrived around 7:30 PM and wanted to eat something, no problem. The food was also very tasty. Dogs are welcome in the hotel, but we ask that you do not bring them into the restaurant due to possible allergies of other guests. They are welcome to join us on the beautiful outdoor terrace.Breakfast was certainly fine, ham, cheese, jam, yogurt, cereal, fruit and various sandwiches.... fruit juice, coffee (different types), tea, water, etc...Our room was very cozy and warmly decorated, a basic room but in itself (especially for 1 or 2 nights) everything you need. There was also a balcony with a table and 2 chairs, which was great. 1 small point is that the balcony is shared and extends to another room, perhaps a kind of stretching screen can be provided here so that the balcony can be separated if desired, I placed a chair so that our dog could not visit the neighbors 😊( is just a tip)A small problem is perhaps the shower, the pressure kept dropping and the water was difficult to regulate (very hot or suddenly cold). This was the case in our room, but perhaps not in other rooms.Furthermore, it is a beautiful hotel with very friendly owner and staff, beautifully decorated. Each room tells a different story and throughout the hotel you go from one impression to the next, wonderful!
