We were there at the beginning of October 2024. The house is in a great location, supermarket, bakery and cafe nearby. The house itself is so great and lovingly furnished. Everything fits the name SPINNRAD, we can only recommend it

Haus Spinnrad is a cozy little villa Kunterbunt. If you like communicating with other people, want a great self-catering guesthouse with a shared kitchen and living room and are not too fussy when it comes to noise, this is the right place for you. I always feel very comfortable here :-)

Stylish self-catering guesthouse with a great ambience. Lovingly furnished rooms with antique and modern furniture in a mix of styles. If you love a cool, modern atmosphere, this is the wrong place. In the self-catering kitchen, everything is available in abundance, even East Frisian tea sets.Nice encounters are included here!

Great accommodation! Any time !I extremely enjoyed the entire atmosphere of the house.Great concept, everything was absolutely clean, good contacts with other guests and Ms. Akkermann was always approachable.I personally found the location ideal.

Such a good place.The whole property is clean, well thought out and maintained.The rooms are equipped with everything you need to live for a while.The owner is warm and helpful.It didn't take me any time to arrive, I felt right at home. And I had some valuable encounters and conversations during my vacation, which is also due to the ambience of the house. It attracts special people. 🙂

I love the North Sea islands - but I mainly come to Borkum because of the great guesthouse "Haus Spinnrad". This extraordinary accommodation with lots of Frisian charm has captured my heart. Why? Well - apart from the fact that the cleanliness and facilities are perfect and the hostess is friendly and very helpful, this house is also run in a climate-friendly and resource-oriented manner and has been doing so for many years and not just since everyone has been talking about it! How you notice this: e.g. B. in the lovingly furnished rooms in vintage style. This guesthouse is a place to feel good and recharge your batteries that I like to return to again and again.

The guesthouse is centrally located, right next to a supermarket, which makes shopping very easy.The holiday apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking.The bathroom is also well equipped and large with a hairdryer and towels.The bedroom is also large and we slept very well.You can also have a good holiday here with children.Due to the central location you don't need a car.250 m to the train station about 1000m to the beach.There is also a small garden with seating.Everything is very clean and the landlady is also nice.We'd love to come back.

Very centrally located, cozy and pleasantly uncomplicated family guesthouse with a lot of charm. The house exudes a pleasant warmth and genuine hospitality, which can be seen in the small details, which have grown over the years and are not just off the shelf. Everything is taken care of. The house, the furnishings, everything has history and invites you to be part of this history for a pleasant moment, not least thanks to the very friendly hostess. You immediately feel at home somehow.I really enjoyed the days in the guesthouse, including the afternoon Frisian tea ceremony in the cozy lounge with my wife, who is currently undergoing rehabilitation at the nearby Knappschaftsklinik. The “good” room is more than just a replacement for the straight, seasonally closed veranda.With the guest, who later also arrived alone, there was a nice exchange over breakfast in the shared kitchen, as other guests have already described. I felt very comfortable and would like to come back.

The Pension Spinnrad is a very well-maintained house. The rooms are very nicely decorated and everything is there for a pleasant stay. You can eat in the rustic winter garden, which is typical of the island's construction style. The accommodation is highly recommended!!!

Very cozy self-catering guesthouse in a prime location. Nice landlady and nice rooms at reasonable prices. The guests usually travel individually and you quickly come into contact with them in the common areas. Everything is very homely. We would love to come back...

Cozy and tastefully furnished with old furniture and modern elements. The holiday apartment in the house is equipped with everything you need to self-cater in the kitchen-living room. Own beautifully tiled shower room. In the backyard there is a comfortable bench in the colorful beach tent.

This accommodation is fantastic and can't be beat for the price. It starts with the warm welcome from Mrs. Akkermann, goes through a lovingly furnished house, clean, beautiful rooms, the unbeatable location (absolutely central: 1 minute to the Edeka supermarket, bakery next door, train station 2 minutes away, close to the beach), right up to for a carefree and relaxed stay. We had a wonderful time and immediately booked two more stays there. Full of anticipation for my next vacation with Ms. Akkermann, I absolutely recommend this accommodation!
