Far away from the noise and hustle and bustle you will find this nice hotel with a restaurant. We had booked an overnight stay on the way home from Rügen because we didn't want to drive through to Vienna in one go with our dog and ended up in a culinary highlight. The food is excellent, the service is friendly and quick, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about at the breakfast buffet. We can only recommend the new height.

Room in the neighboring building: Everything was new, very modern. There are a few small things to complain about: the bathroom is basically clean, but the water in the shower doesn't drain well, the shower partition on the floor could be cleaned better, and there was a yellow border around the faucet. Unfortunately, the list of television programs is not correct at all. But that's not all tragic. Breakfast selection was very good, except for the lack of eggs on Saturday.The location is very good, you have a great view over the country. Only the access road is very narrow.100% recommendation

Our wedding reception took place at Neue Höhe and we were thrilled.The viewing and preliminary discussions went great. If you had any questions, you could always get in touch and receive prompt feedback.The food for the celebration (buffet) was very, very tasty and sufficient. The guests were also enthusiastic.The service was very kind and attentive.The location was also very nice and it fit our motto “Vintage/Rustic” perfectly.Thank you very much for the great time and this great service ☺️

Service is top, 5/5. Unfortunately, there is only one dish on the main menu that is declared vegetarian, but it is not vegetarian at all because it contains parmesan. At least one actually vegetarian dish or even vegan would be something.

In May 2024, I led a seminar as a lecturer at Neue Höhe Klingenberg. The conference location was perfect: light-flooded seminar room, diverse and high-quality moderation equipment (that was a dream!), delicious food during the breaks, a relaxing overnight stay, and last but not least, the breathtaking nature of the surrounding area. Thank you very much, anytime again :).

Unfortunately, my requests for changes to the food were not implemented. The waitress asked me twice if I still wanted to eat it and then there wasn't even a discount.The portions are quite small, the main course comes across like an appetizer.

The hotel is very secluded on a hill. During breakfast you can look across the fields into the valley.The rooms are simply furnished and a bit old, but clean. The beds are nice and hard, the pillows are very good.The hotel and restaurant staff are very attentive and exceptionally friendly.In the restaurant you can enjoy a medium level meal. However, the prices and the layout of the menu as well as the arrangement and quantity of the dishes suggest that people tend to expect higher quality from themselves. Unfortunately, this is not achieved. Perhaps the price and type of food should be adapted to the location and the beautiful, rustic ambience instead of trying to create haute cuisine, which unfortunately is not accessible to the kitchen team.The hotel prices are also very ambitious given the remote location and the facilities.
