We spent one night here in transit. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The room was small but very clean. Unfortunately the breakfast was very simple. However, too expensive compared to other hotels in a similar location.

A very well located hotel, parking is available and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating, emails and questions were answered quickly and easily.The room with TV and desk is very cozy and also very pleasant facing the street, with the sounds of water from the Gottleuba. The bathroom is renovated and fantastic, and great attention is paid to hygiene.Booking via the website went smoothly, even if it was at short notice.The hotel is very suitable for vacationing in an extremely beautiful and quiet area!

We were guests at a wedding at the Sächsisches Haus. The hall was beautiful and lovingly decorated. The food was great and left over. The service staff always had a smile and were very friendly. All in all a lovely evening and recommended.

I was able to book a single room (215) for 3 days at short notice, April 2024. Location is close to the road, but the traffic didn't bother me.For a hotel that is only 1 year old, the rooms are very dated. The wooden frame bed looks cheap and the cushions are really soft, you sink into it, not nice. The bathroom is modern but the shower drain is much too small or blocked. I stopped the water after 2 minutes otherwise it would have overflowed.The service when it came to breakfast, there were three guests alone in the dining room around 9 a.m., was TOP, Ms. Eysold was magical, spent a lot of time at the reception and also lovingly prepared the breakfast, nothing was missing. She seems to manage everything herself, reception, breakfast, etc. Great respect and then so friendly and super nice. The very nice service compensated for the not so nice charm of the hotel. I wish the hotel good luck as the concept of what is planned works, but there is still a lot to do. The price-performance ratio is borderline. I wouldn't put the hotel on my favorites list.

The hotel is still under renovation, but it was a very pleasant stay.I visited someone in the spa clinic and was only there for one night.The contact was great, even for a late check-in. The room was clean and had a great bathroom.Price-performance for a single room is 👍I didn't use the breakfast.A nice starting point for many beautiful hikes.All in all, highly recommended.

We went to the New Year's Eve celebration and had a very nice New Year's Eve. We were able to shake a leg and the service, food and drinks included in the entrance fee were excellent. We'd love to come back.

The small hotel has been in new hands for about 2 years. The new owners are in the process of polishing this “diamond in the rough”. They still have a few bureaucratic and official hurdles to overcome... there are already two sponsors who support the family in continuing to run the pretty "Saxon house". With the mind, heart and spirit of a good hotel industry, the guest rooms were first renovated (very clean and comfortable). The restaurant is still in the renovation phase, but that does NOT affect the hospitality.Personally, I hope that a few more sponsors can be found who could support the family in getting this property up and running again, because it would be a shame for such hard-working people with such great preservation intentions. Unfortunately, there are many older buildings in Bad Gottleuba that are empty and would be such great properties if they could be financed somehow. In any case, every penny in this small accommodation is well spent... so book your stay there with a clear conscience and SPONSORS around the world... help where you can!!!!

Rarely slept so well. The Gottleuba flows past the house, so that the birds' singing is accompanied by a gentle splashing sound.The rooms are newly renovated, harmoniously and comfortably furnished.The hotel team is friendly and very committed. You can tell that the business is run with a lot of heart and passion despite the ongoing renovation work.Even though the restaurant is currently closed, the breakfast is definitely impressive. And the coffee...The Saxon house is a gem in a prime location, no matter what you plan to do.

We went to the Halloween party last Saturday and had a lovely evening. We were thrilled by the beautiful decoration. Even the staff were well dressed and very concerned about the well-being of the guests. We would definitely come back.

When I arrived I was warmly welcomed!! I got a nice, clean, well-furnished room with a renovated bathroom. The hotel is still under renovation, but you won't notice anything about it. The path leads briefly outside the house for breakfast. The breakfast is rich and very sufficient. When the weather is good, there is a sun terrace, which is also open to the public as an ice cream cafe in the afternoon. The boss runs the hotel with passion and a lot of commitment!! I was in good hands and felt completely comfortable!!! Courteous service. A very good address for anyone who wants to avoid the hustle and bustle. Oh and there is also the diverse, beautiful nature.
