We spent a short vacation here. The rooms are quite small but functionally furnished. The beds were particularly good, the mattresses were very stable and not sagging. The missing two stars were lost in the bathroom. It was tiny and the furnishings were ancient (which you can see from the photos). There was no mixer tap on either the shower or the sink. There were also hardly any shelves available.Something needs to be done here as quickly as possible, because the price for a double room is not exactly cheap at 110.00 euros! The breakfast buffet was very good, there was everything that belongs to breakfast and what was missing was constantly supplemented. We had dinner in the hotel's own restaurant. The dishes were all very tasty and beautifully presented. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The menu was varied and well sorted.Thank you for the wonderful time, because apart from the bathroom furnishings we were very satisfied.

We spontaneously booked for one night from Saturday to Sunday. Called directly to the building.Very friendly contact. The “Spitzberg” feel-good room is recommended. We reserved a table for the evening. The two waitresses were quick and friendly despite the crowd. The food was tasty and there was also good wine.Everything was also within reasonable price. We would particularly like to praise the varied and very nicely presented breakfast buffet. Really nice. We'll be back...even if it's just for one night.T. Plow

We had a lovely holiday in the Sonnebergbaude. The hotel is a bit old but very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was rich and had everything your heart could desire. The bread was delicious and probably from a baker...only the dark breakfast rolls were a flat 0. These should be replaced with another product. The dinner was also delicious and there was something for everyone. The location of the hotel is great, you walk outside the door and are right in nature.

We had dinner on Saturday, August 31, 24. Unfortunately the three of us were all alone in the restaurant. We had to wait 10 minutes until a waitress took care of us. After 20 minutes the food arrived; Craziness! For a few macaronis (not tagliadelle) with chanterelles (dead cooked and hardly edible because they are rubbery) 18.60 EUR. Thin white sauce and not seasoned. At least the game goulash with chanterelles was edible. That was the last time we stopped there.M. BlockUpper Bavaria

Excellent picturesque pub, great food, large portions, excellent service. I had a steak with cod, fried potatoes on onions and Schinkenschpeck and it was perfect. I recommend it to everyone.
