We were there with our school class and felt completely comfortable. The food was great, the staff were very nice and cheerful and the rooms were nice and clean.We'll definitely be back! Thank you for everything.

A great house with a very good location directly on Lake Constance. Staff was friendly to us. Breakfast was tasty, whether inside or outside, the atmosphere was always good, thanks to the good weather. Further findings: Unfortunately, one toilet for an entire floor is a bit small, and there was no light in a shower cubicle. If you opened the doors to the shower cubicles, they squeaked louder than a jackhammer or the Russian national anthem. When you enter the room, the first thing you notice is the smell of the youth hostel. The room was clean, there were six bunk beds. The colleagues in the room were sometimes entertaining, even mysterious, so they were ghosting around at 4 in the morning, when normal people are at bedtime. In the morning, instead of turning off the alarm, they hit the snooze button. At night there was sometimes beef (not beef, but anger), which may have brought the colleagues in the bedroom even closer together. I was able to sleep well, so the mattresses were in top condition.

We had a lovely stay at the youth hostel in Kreuzlingen. The accommodation is located in a charming old villa that has a lot of historical charm. Unfortunately, the renovation was not carried out with the necessary sensitivity and some of the original details were lost.Nevertheless, our stay was pleasant. However, the youth hostel's outdoor areas could be made a little more open to allow for a better view of the lake. A more transparent design would bring out the beautiful view of Lake Constance even more.Overall, a recommendable accommodation with potential for small improvements.

The staff was very rude, we as guests had to set the table for others, wifi is really bad, the owner of the house is extremely strict and doesn't know how to handle certain situations (after all it is a youth hostel), doors don't close , so no privacy, The food is not good and very boring, Staff also argued loudly in front of us, the only good thing is the area, because Lake Constance is really beautiful

They were very friendly, except for one. She wanted us to set the table, which I didn't understand at all. She yelled at us and said we were too slow. The owner was always very annoyed and directly at everyone! I can't recommend it.

The staff was very unfriendly and unpleasantly strict. The food wasn't fine and our spaghetti was raw. Don't go there if you're looking for experienced staff with good support. Really bad and not nice at all. The only good thing is the location.

Great location in a beautiful park, the building is impressive, like a stately home in the past. Times, including a 'salon' with a fireplace, with an impressive view of the lake, which serves as a lounge. Food and breakfast simple but of very good quality. Our room was under the attic, very clean, smelled a bit like plastic (probably due to floor coverings?). Staff was always very friendly. We'd love to come back.

A low cost hotel is at the price of a palace: absolutely avoid!In a youth hostel, a single bathroom and a single toilet for an entire floor, or around ten people, are perfectly acceptable given the prices usually charged. The same goes for the need to make your own bed and take down dirty laundry.But when the asking price is higher than all the three-star hotels I frequented on a bike ride for 15 days it turns into a scam: An attic room where you have to bow your head to go to bed, soberly furnished with a bed and a chair, devoid of storage space, with deplorable soundproofing, without the slightest bathroom linen, all of this is unacceptable.And the icing on the cake: no Wi-Fi on the entire floor! (while a simple CPL socket could power these rooms.)There are some positive points: a beautiful building in a beautiful environment, a fairly warm welcome, a good breakfast.But the value for money is deplorable. Run away!

Honestly shockingly high quality at a shockingly low price. I booked a room in the afternoon showed up around 19:00 and was good to go. The all you can eat breakfast was quite good and fuled me well for a long day of galavanting.

We stayed with our family in a dark, dreary basement room, paid >200 for one night and experienced below-average hospitality. The next time we visit a Jugi, we would take a very close look at where we stay at what price and what the reviews say about the staff...There was no toddler bed, no information about local activities and only, after very active asking, information about meal times and the possibility of renting toys. The location on the lake cycle path and the house itself are nice, but not for us as a family with small children.The price is really too high for that - the dark rooms in the basement were really "bottom drawer", the lack of courtesy and the high price for a family were "second bottom drawer".However, the food (dinner (surcharge 19.50 per person) and breakfast buffet included in the price) was great!

I stayed in this hostel for one night in a 10 bed room. The staff is very nice and happy to have a chat. A very quiet hostel. The breakfast selection is of the standard of a Swiss hostel.

During my community service in this youth hostel, I had the opportunity to gain a comprehensive insight into the operation. It is unfortunate that some of the previous reviews are, in my opinion, unfair. I was able to see for myself that the rooms are cleaned very thoroughly after each departure and the bathrooms are cleaned daily so that they are always in immaculate condition.I was particularly impressed by the chef Marcel, who does his work with great passion and maintains the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. Every day he ensures that the kitchen is cleaned thoroughly and attaches great importance to preparing high-quality food.The location of the youth hostel is simply fantastic and the surrounding park offers everything your heart desires. In just a few minutes' walk you can reach a great playground, swimming opportunities, a zoo, idyllic walking paths, an interesting museum and various restaurants.

When we arrived with the class everyone had to go to the toilet. That's why I was standing alone at reception, a door opened and a woman came out. She had a sack full of flour with her so I thought she was a cook. The woman then asked me if I could buy the flour for 300 francs. would buy per kilo and she explained to me that this flour was special. Because you had to sniff it with your nose and the woman said it was healthy for the body, I bought the strange flour for 300 francs. and tried it as soon as we were assigned to our rooms. Afterwards I saw that the youth hostel had set everything up so that it was floating. But I think the youth hostel did a really good job of making everything float.
