A few weeks ago, I and my husband were at the Pension Schrötter with our little daughter. Our apartment was very nice and clean. With a baby, I can recommend the guest house. Mrs. Schrötter and Mr. Schrötter are very friendly and you can also get along very well with them We were also happy with the breakfast. If you want something else to eat or want something specific, you just have to tell them and they will ask. We were even asked what we wanted to eat the day before. I have never met such a rude person.When we met the owner, she just gave us the key and briefly showed us the room. We didn't get any more information. Here the lady seemed a bit annoyed and stroppy.Unfortunately, we only noticed later that the floor in the room was dirty and the mattress was very sagging.When my wife and I went to the "second" coffee shop for breakfast the next day, which we weren't told, we noticed that the plates weren't clean either. Only after asking for clean plates for the third time did we start breakfast. This lady in question once again appeared annoyed and unreasonable.When I mentioned the condition of the room she almost went crazy and threatened to call the police if I didn't pay the full price of 90 euros.In the end I paid and didn't even get an invoice.They will never see us again!!!For the "first" coffee, bakery: this is below the rooms and looks like a lost place. Everything was full of cobwebs and there was also a yellowed mattress standing around.I have never met such a rude and unreasonable person who cannot take criticism. Here 50 euros is still too much for one night.

The building makes a very run-down impression. Garbage everywhere, abandoned business premises, cobwebs, etc. It's like a "lost place". Brown water came out of the taps, which means that no one has been here for a long time (not even when cleaning). I was probably the only guest that weekend.Addendum: The owner wrote on Booking that none of this is true! I can only advise everyone against it and I don't normally write something like that.

Stayed for two nights, 2 adults and one child paid 255€. I decided to do it because everything looked great from the homepage with breakfast in the house..... Because of that you have to go up to the market square. There were hardly anyone who knows how to get there Lam off then it would workIf you don't have back problems yet, you have mattresses that are ancient ones with springs in themOn the 2nd night the smoke alarm went off at 2 a.m. that even the neighborhood was looking for and said where it was so loud about sleep, no more talk of sleep after I wrote an SMS, a message came at 7.30 in the morning at the time we were sleeping..... outrageous we would have also liked to sleepConclusion never never again homepage should be completely redesigned .......also way too expensive

After the 8 1000 tour, we were warmly welcomed in the bakery while waiting for the bus.Longed-for coffee + alarm clock and pretzel (and good bread at the end!): great!+ perfectly warm, short conversation and even a charging cable for the battery emergency on your cell phone!Everything you need to cover the remaining meters.Thank you very much for the short visit and nice advice in your café!

I CANNOT agree with the bad review. We spent 9 days in the Schrötter guesthouse. Apartment large and bright, very clean. New kitchenette. Comfortable beds and 3 balconies. Arber and Osserblick. …

We booked a double room via email on November 4th, 2019 for the period from December 30th, 2019 to January 2nd, 2020.We also received confirmation from the guesthouse that everything was fine.On December 29th, 2019 evening at 7:00 p.m. we received a call from the Schrötter guesthouse and were told that there was no room available to us. We found this impossible and wanted to know more about the reasons.Mr. Schrötter simply hung up the phone in a very unfriendly manner.Later we received a few phone numbers from other guesthouses via WhatsApp to ask if there were any rooms available.Luckily we got a very nice room in another guesthouse so we could celebrate New Year's Eve at Lam.A couple from the Schrötter Guesthouse also came to this guesthouse and their room was canceled due to overcrowding.The behavior and unfriendliness of this guesthouse is unacceptable for us.Actually no star but you can't post that without it.

Unfortunately it is not possible to give no star, which would actually be completely legitimate:We were passing through and booked a room for one night. We were told on the phone that they might not be there, but that they had to put the key in a certain place, which was completely ok. However, when we moved in we discovered that there was no information regarding breakfast etc. We tried to reach someone a total of 10 times on both mobile and landline lines and also sent an SMS asking for a call back. Unfortunately without any success. Someone from the town told us that the attached cafe was permanently closed, but there was still a branch at the market. Since we still hadn't received any callback or other information by the next morning, we were up to market. The cafe was closed and no opening times were given. We then put the money for the overnight stay, minus the amount for breakfast, on the table in the room and left the key where we found it. To this day we haven't heard anything else!! The rooms themselves weren't great in terms of furnishings and cleanliness, but they were acceptable for one night,
