This is a hidden gem! I booked a much needed two day getaway here. Close to a lot of places in Grafenwoehr and there’s a store/cafe across the street. My room was clean and the shower spotless. I loved the glass balcony to soak up some sun or enjoy an early morning. I would stay here again.

Self-check-in is a bit fiddly for people who have never done anything like this before.

I have very mixed feelings about this hotel. If you can really call it a hotel. It's much more like an air BNB.Getting ahold of anyone to ask a question is very hit or miss. I sent an email prior to my trip asking if they offered shampoo and soap in the rooms, and if they had laundry, and never received a response.I was traveling on TDY to the Granfenwoehr Army installation, so location-wise this hotel was very convenient. It is also close to various restaurants within walking distance. They have VERY limited parking and trying to get out of the parking spots is very tight. I don’t understand a hotel that can have 10 rooms but not enough parking spots for the amount of rooms they have. we were given a map for overflow parking and parked where we were instructed, and then got yelled at by a neighbor who said no, it was actually private parking. When you complete the online registration, you are emailed a code to the building and the room you are staying in. There is no front desk or person to speak within upon check-in. Each room comes with towels provided, a decent size bathroom, and kitchenette. They will only clean your room if you request 24 hours in advance to be cleaned. my trip here was about a week long, and about halfway through. I sent an email requesting my room to be cleaned, but never received a response for it nor did they clean my room.On one website it said they have laundry, but I did not find any laundry machines on site. Also, if your itinerary may change, this is NOT the place for you. I was told my travel plans may change and leaving Granfenwoehr early, and when I emailed the hotel asking about this, after waiting several days for a response, I was told they do not offer any refund for early check out. You are charged for your entire stay the same day you check in.The website mentions they offer continental breakfast. This means they give you vouchers to go across the street to a local shoppe / bakery for a complimentary coffee and pastry item. This was fine for all intents and purposes, however not what I was originally expecting. The hotel only has ten rooms total. One very annoying aspect of my stay was hearing the building door slamming all the time. There is also no elevator in the building. It are three floors total, and my room was on the second floor. Thankfully I had only brought a small carry-on or else I would have been hating life trying to carry a big bag up the spiral staircase.I had a room that was advertised as having a balcony. It technically had a balcony but was very small and the floor of the balcony was metal grates. The door to the balcony also had no blinds or window shade, so whoever lives in the house next door could probably see into the room.I did appreciate the room having air conditioning, especially with travelling in the hot month of July, and the fact that most of Germany does not have buildings with air conditioning.I'm not sure I would stay here again given my frustration on the customer service aspect. knowing that I sent emails asking my room to be cleaned to the same email that I received with checkout instructions was rather infuriating because I know that they are checking that email. The overall customer service aspect was definitely lacking in my experience I had here.

An amazing place to stay at! Safe, clean and looks super adorable. The mattresses were so soft and the rain shower was lovely. Big TV with neflix and amazon prime. Super close to bars and restaurants (5-10 min walk) and right across from the hotel is a little grocery store with a cafe.

Overall, a very good experience. Noel was very helpful (by email before we got there and when we called for the code since we did not receive it by email). Checking in was a little confusing since there are boxes with room numbers which are not being used. Parking is tight, but there were only 1-2 other cars, so no problem. Large, comfortable bed in a large well lit room. The room contained a kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, sink, plug in hotplate, pans, plates, cups, etc. Curtains are somewhat thick, but not blackout. The bathroom was a decent size, however there is no curtain on the window which is right in front of the shower. Also, it would be nice to have a hook or two by the shower for towels. The toilet paper holder had fallen off the wall, and was placed on a shelf. There were breakfast vouchers for coffee and a bakery item at the bakery across the street which was very good. However, it should be noted the bakery is closed on Sundays. So we ate the breakfast bars that were in the room (Noel responded by email that they were complimentary). Also, it should be noted that the agreement indicates that no friend or family not staying there can even step inside the building or you will be charged 50 euros. Since we were visiting our son who is working at the base, we found it a bit odd but not necessarily a problem.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the city. It was easy to sign in and to sign out. Hotel cleaning was available as long as you notify the host within 24 hours. I had to work nights and the host was receptive of my request for a late cleaning when I was at work. If I'm in town again I will definitely request to be a guest at the Manhattan Boutique. Thank you for making my stay as comfortable as it was.

Super convenient location to base and food options. Room was clean, modern, and cozy. Plenty of space in the room and storage options if staying for multiple days. Convenient kitchen sink, fridge, and microwave. Really appreciated the goody basket as well! The hotel managers were very responsive, kind, and thoughtful by providing directions and step by step instructions to access building. Will def try to stay here again.

Cute, clean room in a great location. I appreciate the fact that they provide a microwave and fridge in the room and how close it is to the base and center of town. There is some hesitancy that there is not a front desk with reception available. Overall, a nice hotel.

I was skeptical at first about staying here due to there not being a receptionist like a typical hotel. Upon arriving, my worries were put to rest as the room was absolutely excellent. It was clean, warm and even came with a welcome package and complimentary coffee and pastry tokens for each morning I was there. I would stay there again in the future without hesitation!
