At first glance, it is clear that no money was spared during the renovation and most of the spaces are very well designed - I especially appreciate the details that refer to the local nature.We really liked the evening bar Kotelna with billiards, sauna with cooling pool or live flowers in the restaurant.Nevertheless, all of this lacks "that something" that makes a hotel a place where you feel good and want to return (the staff is not very friendly, the rooms are cold, there is no hot water at peak times and, last but not least, the whole concept of the reception with a small desk in the corner he looks embarrassed to say the least).But those are all things you'll pass over as a weekend guest, however if there's one thing that's a complete flop, it's the restaurant. On social networks, it presents itself as fine dining, which is probably a bad joke, because the menu consists mostly of fried or classic Czech dishes. And it is definitely not a modern concept. All this for a price that they wouldn't be ashamed of even in Prague. Even the use of local ingredients does not save the overall impression. It is a great pity, because it is clear from the photos that in the past the food reached a diametrically different quality, worthy of a 4* hotel.

Thank you for the invitation to the Český les Resort. We really enjoyed the joint magic for children and adults for the Vrba Foundation in the beautiful surroundings of the hotel.

A magical place with nice service. The hotel will be appreciated by those without children and especially by those who enjoy nice things.You can see that no expense was spared on the hotel, but someone did it more for design than purpose.A bathroom with no storage space, one towel hook, but without a loop, etc... In three nights I had no luck with hot water, because I probably hit the wrong time every time. You have to put a special tag on the door in order for someone to take out the bin for you. However, no one told us this in advance.For dinner, as a hotel guest, you must make a reservation in advance, otherwise you will not be able to catch up. Breakfasts are also a bit tight. The food in the restaurant is not bad at all, but we didn't think it was adequate for the price. We had no problem with the service at all.Another element that is completely missing in the hotel is a functional lobby or social corner - room.I don't consider a hotel suitable for children if they have baby cots or chairs in the restaurant.

Beautiful and modern hotel. The rooms are great, maybe I would have liked a little more toiletries (cotton swabs, tampons, etc.). The location was ideal for us, we wanted to go to autumn nature. The restaurant is very good, tastefully decorated, the food is excellent. The service was a bit stressed, but we had no problem. We were sorry that the hotel bar was reserved only for a private company, but it seems that these private events often happen here. We definitely recommend it.

We spent a business team building in this resort and I can only recommend it. The food is excellent, we recommend the venison due to the nature reserve that belongs to the resort. :) We also visited the field with a guide, I recommend it, it's worth it. The rooms are beautiful, everything is new and clean, comfortable, convenient. Wellness, massages, bar, football, billiards, they have everything. :) They will help you in everything, just make arrangements in advance so that the staff is ready for you. :) We will definitely visit again. :)

We stayed here with a friend for 4 nights and we have absolutely nothing to complain about.The resort is located in a quiet location, a short distance from the border with Germany. All around there are many tourist routes leading to Germany or the Czech territory.Upon arrival, we were greeted at the reception by a very nice lady who explained everything to us. The entire resort was extremely clean, cozy, modern, but simply beautiful...The breakfasts were excellent. Everyone chooses here, and anyone who doesn't is a moron. A very tasty selection. Vegetables, fruits, coffee, teas, juices, savory and sweet, just about anything a breakfast could include were included.And as for dinner, we didn't have it included in the price, but we went to the Hvozd restaurant almost every evening to eat. The food was so well seasoned that we had complete bliss on our palates.For us, this place is perfect for couples!

The soup resembled a chicken broth using broth. The staff had time for everything, which does not correspond to the number of diners. Practically Čekárna. Salmon tartare, the color of the fish, corresponded to Herinka from the neighboring country. Prazdroj 12 was not wrong. The price for the tasting is very high? CZK 430.

Have a nice day,This review could be even longer, but in the end the minor complications were resolved, but the reservation system should probably be tweaked a bit, or it was just an unfortunate event.The apartments and rooms are sufficient and very nice. The staff are mostly young, friendly and hard-working.What's really worth the effort is the kitchen set - over the course of 4-5 days we tried everything from the menu and everything tasted great! This offer, extended to include an evening barbecue, set the bar a little higher and the guys at the grill prepared everything excellently. The choice of local food is excellent again!

A mixed review, so I will start with the most concerning. The reception desk is not fit for purpose. There is one small desk with a stool to service a large number of guest during check-in. This can often take 30+ minutes.The most alarming thing is this 4* hotel openly breaches GDPR, they had paper printed reservations with guest information scattered across the small desk on arrival. As you can see from the picture attached (personal information redacted and deleted) IF I was the kind of person who might want to use this information for fraudulent or sinister purposes then the hotel make it incredibly easy. I’m posting this as I would be extremely dissatisfied if this were my details in public view (this included ID card information by the way!).Location isn’t great if you want to expire by foot, so make sure you bring a bike or expect to use the car.I can’t fault the food and the room, these were the highlight of the stay.

The hotel is beautiful and so is the surrounding nature. The place is suitable for cyclists and hikers. However, there is only one restaurant within walking distance of the hotel - right in the hotel. The food in the restaurant is above average, prepared from local ingredients. However, in my opinion, the price does not match the quality. The hotel lacks a common room where you could sit with a group of people without having to spend time in the local restaurant, where they do not have favorable prices for drinks at all. Outdoor seating is only available on the terrace that belongs to the restaurant. I would recommend the resort to set up a larger seating area (benches with tables) in nature so that people can sit with what they want.

The Český les resort really has a lot of potential. The kitchen is great, the food is excellent and overall very tasty. Unfortunately, the service is sometimes very off. The reception only works for a very short part of the day, which is not ideal. In addition, fake marble does not look very good, which spoils the overall impression of the hotel.On the other hand, the food was excellent - except for one unpleasant experience when the staff kicked us out of breakfast, saying that breakfast was over, even though we were still sitting at the table eating. This was not quite right, especially when you are in a four star hotel. Overall, the resort is great, but the level of service could definitely be improved to live up to its full potential.

Beautiful environment, surrounding nature balm for the soul. A place with an incredible atmosphere. Today at the family lunch we were served by a young waiter. Very pleasant and professional approach. Food at a very high standard. They even accommodated us with an order for our little grandson. The price was also pleasant, which absolutely corresponds to the quality and quantity. Definitely recommend and it certainly wasn't our last visit.
