Quite a nice guesthouse. It offers bungalows at reasonable prices in the Thuringian Forest. If you don't want to spend a lot of time in a hotel or something like that and hike or do other activities all day, this is ideal for you. We recommend coming by car as public transport is very limited.

We arrived at the guesthouse on the edge of the forest and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner by Mr. Schneithorst. We were able to check into our double room at 3 p.m. …

Simply wonderful, very nice operator. The small houses are clean and nicely furnished. On the last visit there was even a kettle and tea and coffee. The breakfast is completely sufficient. From there you can go for a walk in the beautiful forest. We like coming here. And the best thing is, dogs are welcome.*There could be new shower heads, but that's the only point I have to complain about. We thank you for the great hospitality.

We booked this accommodation for a little girls' trip. We basically just spent the night and showered. It was really fine for that. The surroundings are really great, really located right next to the forest. We had a small double room. The room was completely fine for the price. We didn't have any mold or dirt in the room, as you can read here. The mattress was too soft for me personally. My girlfriend didn't think so - a matter of taste. There was tea, coffee and a corresponding cooker in the rooms. There was a small seating area in front of the bungalow. There was also a lot of children's play equipment on site (trampoline, etc.).The breakfast was solid. Everything important was there. There were also lots of Dutch sprinkles.I would come back for another trip like this in the corner. Of course you can't expect a 5* Ritz for the price. But it doesn't always have to be that way.The staff we dealt with was friendly.
