We have been coming to the Thüringer Hof for over 20 years. It started with a Rennsteig hike, where we were taken to the starting point of the tour by the son of the house and picked up from the destination in the evening. Was a great experience. Since then we have been guests in this house every year for the Rennsteig run. We particularly appreciate the rustic atmosphere, the friendly, family-like approach of the innkeepers towards their guests and the consistently high quality of the food. The expression “eat like your mother’s” is completely applicable here. Keep it up!!! We look forward to seeing you again every year.

I only used the restaurant there, so I can't say anything about the quality of the hotel.-I was pleased that a restaurant here has been preserved largely in its original condition, the restaurant has been around for over 80 years 👍👍😊The food was freshly made and tasted excellent.Service from the owner personally, politely, quickly, what more could you want 😊I would be happy if this restaurant remained in its rustic condition 👍If I come back to the area, I will eat there again 😎👍

Actually a small village inn with potential. However, the old boss sees himself as a silverback. The waitress of course allowed the tables to be put together for an ordered party for which there were not enough seats and was immediately forbidden by the innkeeper. The portions were comparatively small and no card payment was possible, even though there was no ATM in town. No parking space at the house and only the advice that you just have to look around. It's better, but not with this host.

We came across the Thüringer Hof yesterday by chance because we had reserved a table somewhere else in the same place for our special birthday. However, despite the reservation, we found ourselves standing in front of a locked door!After a quick call to the Thüringer Hof, we were fortunately able to eat there at short notice and very tasty!The landlord and the kitchen team were very hospitable and accommodating, you could tell that they still put their heart and soul into the catering industry.👍🏻Which, unfortunately, is no longer a given these days!We can only recommend this restaurant!

I can't agree with the positive entries.My little schnitzel on a small slice didn't come out of the pan..apart from onions and a side salad, I found the price of over 12 euros to be enormous.The drinks are also quite expensive.The service was cozy, but the food came very quickly. Well, we won't be going there again.
