Thank you for your stay at Hotel Waldmühle. The employees and the boss are super friendly. It was really fun. The food, drink, ambience and service were great.We are positively surprised and would love to come back. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right.

We were at the hotel about country fun…. We had dinner there... which was ok... but in the morning a car parked itself right between our mobile home and another... So we weren't able to open our door... we actually wanted to have breakfast outside... which wasn't possible because of the car... when we mentioned it at the reception... We were just told casually that we could have had breakfast with them... It then turned out that it was an employee... we adhered to the rules of land pleasure that we ate something... and we paid 5 euros for electricity and the fact that we were allowed to stand there... Which is ok... but apparently it's not enough for them... it's a shame that you treat your guests like that...

Were there with the motorhome via country fun. So far we have always had very positive experiences. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.The parking space is in the hotel parking lot and if you're unlucky, there's a car parked right next to the motorhome that you almost can't get out of.The principle of Landfreuden is that you buy something from the host to thank you for the free overnight stay. Very nice principle.Unfortunately, this seems to be misunderstood here.We ate in the restaurant there. It was ok but completely overpriced.However, this was not an exclusion criterion for me.What is an absolute rip-off for me is that they charge 5 euros per person for one shower and if electricity is needed, it also costs 5 euros.Unfortunately, breakfast outside was not possible due to the car. Unfortunately, the only comment made here was that you could have had breakfast at your place.Conclusion: The first country pleasure parking space that we will definitely not go to again.For me, the hotel missed the mark of country enjoyment.Maybe you should consider just staying in a hotel. True to the motto cobbler, stick to your lasts!!

We only ate in the restaurant.Unfortunately, I was really disappointed with the food. Since we were a fairly large group, we had ordered beforehand, which of course ensured that the food was already prepared. You can't say anything about the prices, due to rising costs, I understand €22.50 for a roulade. However, I also expect a tender roulade that doesn't taste predominantly like mustard. There was also a fairly large dumpling, which was okay. The red cabbage was homemade, but unfortunately it was very firm. The shandy was mostly soda. We would have liked to have had another coffee at our table, but were not asked again if we would like anything.When I gave a very sparse tip, people looked at me strangely.Maybe it was just a bad day, but I didn't feel noticed there at all, just as someone who made quick money.

The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast every morning, as well as the restaurant's home-style & varied dishes. During this time with you I was able to unwind 100%. Whether in your new sauna, the Kneipp pool or pampering yourself with a massage in your home. Of course, the convenient location of your hotel is perfect for taking long walks to breathe deeply.Once again a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone!!!

We always enjoy coming here. A great family-run cozy hotel with great food!The surroundings are beautiful and relaxing. For the children, the alpaca tours are the highlight.

We (4) went to the Waldmühle again today and even though it was very full, we still managed to get a seat and were served quickly and in a very friendly manner.We had dumplings and roulade and they were really great. The children also like the view from the restaurant, especially when the geese or alpacas are out and about.Until next time 👋🏻👌🏻

Great location, unfortunately the food for our bus group was a real disappointment, cold and the taste couldn't satisfy any of the 46 passengers, many dishes were missing ingredients, unfortunately the price and performance weren't right at all. Despite advance booking and a known arrival time, everything took far too long for a bus.Unfortunately we cannot recommend it, our bus company will no longer serve this restaurant.

TOP hotel very nice location by the stream and in the forest. Breakfast buffet with everything you need, very large selection. Dinner in the restaurant Top cuisine and very high quality. Special thanks to the service manager and reception manager Susanne as well as the server Manuel, always smiling and always courteous. We'll be back!!!

Unfortunately we cannot rate the rooms as we were only there for an evening stop.We were very disappointed. The menu and prices promised a lot. We had to wait a long time for our drinks and the food. Unfortunately, it was only lukewarm, the portions weren't great, the meat was dry and the schnitzel meat was indefinable. For these prices, we were hoping for quality and not quantity. When we expressed our displeasure to the waitress, they regretted it and said that this is always the case when too many guests are accepted.Very unfortunate.

Apart from the service, our visit was beyond subpar. I have a great tolerance, but it has its limits. We only went to eat, but neither the quality nor the (original) portion was appropriate. At around 20 euros for a Viennese-style schnitzel, you don't expect much, but at least a reasonable portion. After my complaint about the food was picked up without any problems by the really nice waitress, it was observed how this was discussed emotionally with the (assumed) boss, in the dining room. I'm shocked. This experience not only stuck with me, but also with everyone else affected who wanted to have a nice evening with me. Unfortunately, not everyone had the courage to complain. It's everyone's happiness, but I ask myself the serious question of how the guests can "look beyond it" here.

Great family-run hotel. Evening menu and breakfast perfect. Idyllic spa and sauna area and clean rooms. Top starting point for outdoor activities around Zella Mehlis and Oberhof. The hotel is happy to accommodate food intolerances. So we were able to enjoy our vacation in the beer garden and at breakfast and dinner. A special highlight is the new sauna including the idyllic and beautifully landscaped sauna garden. Here you can unwind and unwind. We would love to come back.
