We spent 3 nights in this lovingly run hotel and felt very comfortable from the first minute. The hotel is run by an older couple with a lot of passion. The rooms are cozy and sparkling clean; you can immediately tell that they pay great attention to detail. We would particularly like to highlight the fantastic breakfast with fresh rolls from the bakery and a great selection of delicacies - there are no supermarket baked goods here! In the evenings we cook à la carte and the food is fresh and delicious. The woman of the house stands in the kitchen and conjures up wonderful dishes, while the man in the dining room entertains the guests with his warm and calm manner. We felt completely comfortable.

Deserved five stars!We stayed at the Landhotel Gasthof zu Post for two nights as part of a short hiking holiday and can only recommend this charming, family-run hotel: the rooms were clean and tidy, the service was very friendly and courteous and the food was extremely tasty. The game dishes are particularly recommended! Overall, a very good price-performance ratio. We would love to come back!😄👍🏻

We spent a hiking weekend in Sauerland and stayed at the Hotel zur Post for two days. The rooms were clean and everything was in perfect order.Particularly noteworthy were the very nice hosts and, above all, the excellent food. We had chanterelle cream soup and venison schnitzel, both of which we really enjoyed. The prices were also completely ok, a very good price-performance ratio! We would be happy to come back and thank you for the very pleasant stay.

Since the first visit, the restaurant has been under Corona restrictions, especially after a walk with the dog.has become one of our favorite destinations. You're also welcome when you're wet. The landlord is very nice and the food is delicious. Special requests are also taken into account.The terrace is a bit hidden and cozy because it is not that big.By the way, children are also welcome and their own ideas about the dishes are taken seriously and are therefore satisfied.

We only ate here, not slept.We were the only guests and that on a Saturday evening. The decor is nice and old-fashioned, very cozy and German. Still, we had a delicious meal. It was more than enough, nicely prepared and the owner was very friendly. Children received a piece of candy afterwards.

I ate here in the evening with 3 colleagues, my order was a rump steak, I'm 62 years old and have traveled a lot, so I've often eaten steaks, but no one has ever dared to serve me something like that as a rump steak, 1, 5 cm thin with a fat edge and cartilage insert, thin fries with a disposable packet of mayo, 31 euros without blushing, the colleagues had half-cooked eggs for the tight max and small schnitzels, everything was dismissed when I tried to complain, not recommended
