Super fresh breakfast but the waitress complained several times that she had to get up so early because of us. Napkins are often only available upon request. If you forgo the cleaning service you could get an ice cream in return. There was only two times when there was no ice cream. Free coffee and tea in the lounge if there is one available. The wastebasket was already overflowing when it was emptied after several days. After room service there was a thick hair sausage on the bathroom floor.Despite the small flaws, I would come back.

The guesthouse was spruced up with paint and new floor coverings, the bathrooms were renovated, nothing more.Unfortunately, the window in our bathroom could not be opened properly because the wall panel was installed too high in this area. Overall, our room seemed a bit musty.The external doors should never be locked (not even at night) as they are escape route doors. The lights should always be left on in the hallways that are necessary escape routes, as there is no escape route lighting. The breakfast was tasty and the location was very good.

Our stay was short, but we were warmly welcomed. We felt very comfortable. The housekeeper ensures a very pleasant atmosphere with her friendly manner. The breakfast offering suited us well and we enjoyed it. Of course, the house itself is not a new building, but you wouldn't expect that on an island. The room was lovingly furnished and clean, the bathroom was modern.

Whether you get into a “good” or “bad” room seems to be a matter of luck.At first I was accommodated in a room on the ground floor next to the laundry room. The bathroom door was warped and couldn't be closed completely even with a lot of effort. Every time there was a loud crash and the noise in the house made you feel guilty. There was an unpleasant smell of chlorine in the room. The bed sheet was dirty and there was hair on the pillow, so I changed my bed myself on my first night.I asked the "house mother", who is very friendly, for another room. Everything there was clean and in order.In this respect, I have had mixed experiences and hope that the first room was just an oversight.

I spontaneously looked for accommodation on Wangerooge (December 23).And I'm just thrilled. Very, very cheap, including breakfast. Very, very lovingly furnished rooms, lovingly prepared breakfast. The entire line of this accommodation is completely loving and designed to ensure that the guest feels maximally comfortable. Thanks. I am very enthusiastic and can only recommend it 100%, even if I can no longer find space. Thanks! You are great 🙏

We went with a group to the line dance weekend on Wangerooge at Haus Strandburg. Everything was just right here. The welcome was very warm. The rooms are bright and friendly. Everything that was needed is there. The service was excellent, the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.Definitely a recommendation and we would be happy to come back.

This is the second time we have been here and we are once again very satisfied.The room is very neat, clean and cozy. The TV could be a little bigger for me, but if the weather is right, you shouldn't hang out in front of the TV, but rather enjoy the beautiful island...The breakfast is rather simple, but the quality is generally ok. I would like a little more “love”.The concept that guests are allowed to use the kitchen seems familiar, but I personally don't like it that much. Different people, different hygiene standards…I like that you can skip daily room cleaning in favor of a charitable donation and free ice cream. Also ecologically a win...But we would also like to come a third time, as the criticism is more of a high level of complaining.

We had a family room. There were two bedrooms with bathrooms. The rooms were clean and otherwise ok. The only drawback was that we had to go through the children's room to get to the bathroom. Very nice staff.

We spent a wonderful week on Wangerooge and the beach castle as accommodation was really great... the atmosphere of this guesthouse is great... everything was very relaxed and relaxed. The service is attentive. Breakfast is varied and good. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished and offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We'd love to come back.

The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms offer enough space for couples or individuals. The maritime equipment speaks for itself. We were very impressed by the large selection at breakfast. The coffee for in between meals on the terrace was also great. We would love to come back.

Good breakfast even in the off-season, nice contact, room appropriate for the price. Small lobby with self-service drinks and coffee, very cool when not much is open on the island. Due to its construction, the house is quite noisy.

Guesthouse with charm and attention to detail. Coffee and tea free of charge at any time. Cold drinks for a small price. Rooms lovingly furnished but unfortunately not clean. Dust everywhere. Poor quality mattresses. Breakfast with baked rolls. The kitchen lady's dog was in the kitchen while breakfast was being prepared. Dog hair in the lounge. Disgusting.There are far better accommodations for the room price per night. Also on the islands.
