The location is absolutely great! It's almost impossible to get much closer to the beach.The rooms are relatively spartan. Simple things like toasters or drain plugs are missing.

Very great location with sea views. Very nice and helpful contact. On the last day we were allowed to use the room for longer than previously stated. Were there for the third time now and will definitely come back.

Our vacation on Wangerooge was pure relaxation and the Northern Lights were our home. The apartment was clean, the beds were comfortable, the landlord was very nice and the view past the pudding to the mudflats was a dream.Northern Lights and Wangerooge we will be back.

Never again!I have never experienced something like that.We were looking forward to a nice and relaxing girls' weekend. We arrived and since there was no exact time for check-in on the booking confirmation, we arrived there at 11 a.m. by chance. There was a piece of paper with a telephone number at the entrance. We tried in vain to reach the landlord for 6 hours to find out when we could check in. At around 3:30 p.m. we reported to the tourist information center. The employees also couldn't reach the landlord. After we tried again to meet him in person, other waiting guests told us that the landlord came out of his apartment very drunk and gave them a completely uncleaned room. We had to find new accommodation for a lot more money! Never never again!!!!! We have never experienced anything so unreliable!

Super friendly landlord. Hassle-free rental, quick contact and great apartments. The only thing we were missing was an oven and a few more dishes, but ok. There were high chairs available in the hallway that you could take. Baby beds are also provided. The strollers can be left downstairs in the hallway. We would like to rent here again next year. 👍😀

I've been there every two years for years and it's always a great vacation. first with the parents and now with the son, everyone was and has always been good hosts, very helpful people. Top location, either with a view of the sea or the island village, some even both, and the small exhibition in the hallway is always nice, as are the old oil paintings in every room.I love it

Unfortunately our holiday apartment wasn't really clean, there was dust everywhere, the curtains were yellowed and the dust was trickling down there too, the fridge was completely sticky and full of food crumbs...We don't expect you to be able to eat from every corner of the floor, but basic cleanliness is allowed.The location is great, hence 2 stars...Unfortunately we won't be coming back

Like every year, we spent two weeks on Wangerooge during the autumn holidays, and since 2011 we have been visiting the Northern Lights with our dogs and 1-2 children.The apartment is beautiful, practical, easy to clean, very comfortable and it is simply wonderfully uncomplicated. I feel “grounded” every time.Not a huge flat screen, not cold & hyper-modern, but rather cozy. The kitchen has everything you need, even though as a hobby chef I like to take something with me ;-). The shops on the island are also well stocked. We simply go over to the pudding cake shop with an empty plate, ice cream, crepes and pizza are practically right around the corner, children aged 9-10 and over can simply be let run around on the island and the cinema is in the building opposite. Mr. Warneke is always available and the service regarding towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, flexible arrival and departure is great. There is a very clean laundromat 5 minutes away. Rossmann and baker too. The library is well stocked, the daily spa program has something for everyone, the bookstore is across the street and even though the island is small, I have never been bored. You can have your luggage brought to you from Tammen and picked up, or you can send it by post if necessary.There are dog waste bag dispensers and trash cans almost everywhere on Wangerooge,You are very dog-friendly and child-friendly, but you should also stick to the few rules to keep it that way. We enjoy the cleanliness on the island and the people with whom you immediately start a conversation, who recognize you every year, just like that who are not stubborn but totally open and who make saying goodbye so difficult ;-(.My best experience this year was the excursion to the seal beds, which cannot be topped!

Apartment is in a good location near the sea and the shopping street, right next to Cafe Pudding. Our apartment with a view of the sea. It was quiet on the street. Apartment clean and landlord very nice and helpful.

Insider tip! In the entrance area of the NORDLICHT holiday home there is a small museum on the history of seafaring in the North Sea and around Wangerooge. Real maritime rarities and curiosities as well as great sailing ship models. Definitely worth seeing! Watch and enjoy.
