A small rustic country inn. Room was okay, simply kept. Food, we had a candle lite dinner, was acceptable. Flower decorations were poor (pot).

The two of us spent a weekend in this hotel. We received a very friendly welcome and had a very nice, spacious accommodation (deluxe room) with a separate living room with kitchenette, bedroom and balcony. The breakfast is very rich with a large selection, there is something for everyone. The dinner in the restaurant impresses with its very high quality, richness and excellent taste. The service was very attentive, friendly and always ready for a little joke or conversation. Conclusion: We are happy to recommend the hotel and the restaurant and will definitely come back.

We booked two culinary nights in the Harz through mydays. Unfortunately our expectations were disappointed. The object is obsolete. You could call it 70s/80s charm. The three course menu was very disappointing. The potato soup was watered down, the game was tough, the croquettes came from a bag and the sauce had no taste. Dessert was a cold crepe with red cherry jelly. The rooms are clean, but unfortunately not up to date. No WiFi was offered and the staff seemed slightly overwhelmed. The breakfast buffet was okay.

We booked the Harz Romantik through Mydays with an overnight stay and a candlelight dinner.Checking in after 3 p.m. is no problem. A room in the adjacent building was reserved for us. All in all this was OK. The facility looks fine and is also clean. The bathroom is large and has a shower. There is also a small balcony overlooking the parking lot and the main street. Actually quite OK.One disadvantage, however, is that the building is very noisy. The spring mattresses on the beds actually urgently need to be replaced. You could actually notice individual springs and every movement made a noise. Unfortunately we could also hear this from the room above us. Unfortunately, a good night's sleep was not possible. Now about the food. Unfortunately the candle light dinner wasn't one. Unfortunately there is no trace of romance. Neither flowers nor extra candles or table decorations were available. Just a tea light in a glass. When I asked whether this was how I imagined a candle light dinner to be, I was referred to the tea light. Then I was a bit speechless. The menu was limited to a menu with a starter, a main course to choose from (liver cheese, omelet and fish) and an unspecified dessert. The food was carelessly prepared and tasted bland. Too bad. Here, perhaps skip the starter and dessert and let the guest choose a la carte.Afterwards we could have left straight away, we were so disappointed. After the night of disaster, we were prepared for the worst at the breakfast buffet. But this one was really good. There was a good selection of sausage, cheese, yogurt, etc.Afterwards we quickly left the hotel.Unfortunately, the hotel cannot be recommended for this type of booking.

We only ate. Nice little simple food. Perhaps lacking a little finesse. The waiting time was up to 3 quarters of an hour.

This weekend we wanted to have a nice weekend but unfortunately the accommodation ruined our weekend. When we arrived we were told that there was no hot water or heating in the building because the heating was broken... As an alternative we were offered to drive 20 minutes further to a thermal bath and take a warm shower there (completely insane). Since the building doesn't correspond to what is stated on the website anyway, we are happy not to sleep there...Cleanliness is not the same there either...Unfortunately you can only give 1 star. Not recommended.

Simply a complete disaster, especially offering something like this as a short trip from a well-known voucher provider... I really don't have the words to say that a place like this is still open in 2024!
