We had a good experience staying overnight in this guesthouse. We chose the cheapest room and it was a bad decision, since it was stuffy inside and a bit cramped. I saw other rooms and they are much nicer and more spacious. But even our room had good beds, nice shower strengths and one chair ;) The room has simple, clean and modern sende to it and the bed sheets were excellent. The breakfast had good selection and started about 7:45. The guesthouse has a really nice sitting area outside in the entrance. Very popular place with bikers :)

Great hotel. Very child and animal friendly. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very nice. Our bathroom was small but enough for my son and me. We had a nice, large balcony. Price performance is unbeatable!We'll definitely be back!!!

Great guesthouseGreat roomsVery rich breakfast buffetGreat service!!!Parking space for bikes in a garage.We were there for 12 nights for mountain biking. The country house is ideally located as a starting point for MTB tours. With proper planning, you can even get back to the country house after a day in the saddle without much effort.

I would also give the inn 10 stars if it were possible.We are here as a biker group every year.This time one of us had a crash in the corner. Mr. Vock gave us the clutch lever from his machine and we were able to drive back halfway. Very helpful. Thank you again. We come back every year. It's like being at home every year.We also recommend the restaurant a little deeper when it comes to food and drink. We were there every evening. It is very tasty and inexpensive.Thank you very much again!

We vacationed there for 13 days with another family.Here I describe the condition of an apartment and a holiday apartment. Dirty, as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Kitchen utensils dirty or greasy. There were used paper towels from the previous resident in the cupboards, who knows what they were used for. The apartment was musty. Etc.

Beautiful country inn in the countryside!Lots of bikers, but that doesn't bother anyone.We were here for hiking and the festival of lights and were satisfied.The bathroom could be a little bigger, but completely ok for 1 night.Breakfast very good, lots of choice.We would definitely recommend it.

Called a few hours in advance and there was absolutely no problem getting a room.Everything was super relaxed on site. There was a note on the door showing me my room and I paid in the morning after breakfast.The room was very nice and spacious. The breakfast had a good selection and got me ready for my next day of hiking.If I'm in this corner again, I'll be happy to come back!

We stayed there for 10 days; as a location for our annual motorcycle vacation.room large; in very good condition; large screens; Breakfast in buffet form, more than sufficient and very varied. Owners and staff very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool in the house. 2 large refrigerators with drinks; Billing based on trust. Garages for the motorcycles. I can only recommend this hotel. We were guests in the apartment house, which is part of the hotel. The location is wonderful. It is very quiet and you have a great view from the balcony. The bathroom is in top condition and contains a rainforest shower. The rest of the house is a disaster. When we entered the apartment building, we encountered an unpleasant smell. There were discarded old cupboards in the stairwell. When we entered the apartment, we were already in the kitchen. There and in the living room, you had the feeling that your shoes would stick to the floor. We had 3 bedrooms (since we were vacationing there with 2 children). The beds were nicely made up. One bedroom was quite small, but the second bedroom was very spacious. The third bedroom was similar in size to a storage room. It contained a cupboard and a small folding lounger, which was half-opened in the corner. The sofa in the living room smelled very unpleasant. Some curtains were broken and the cutlery and dishes were very mixed up. There were already killed insects hanging on the wall and plenty of spider webs. Upon request, we were given a kettle, a teapot, seat cushions for the balcony (which was initially dirty due to the rain, but was then cleaned the next day upon request) and another 3 teaspoons, because we only had one teaspoon for 4 Persons. The furniture didn't really fit together. There were still a few nails hanging out of the walls here and there, to which pictures had probably been attached. We then found the smoke detector in the cupboard under the television because it had been removed. There was an old Coke bottle in the closet, probably from the visitors before. We were at the hotel twice for breakfast. The waitress tried very hard to fulfill our wishes. Due to the complaintsHowever, we were given a discount worth 2x breakfast and 2x bread roll service. Altenau is a beautiful city, we would love to come back, but not to the Landhaus am Kunstberg.

We stayed in the country house for one night on our motorcycle tour... what can I say, everything was perfect! Nice host, super cozy rooms and a fabulous breakfast!🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍 It already has five motorcycles as an award from me and it gets a 6🏍 on top of that!

Was here for several days on a motorcycle tour. The country house was exactly what I was looking for on tour: quietly located, good breakfast, newly renovated and functional rooms, inexpensive and cheaper than comparable accommodation in the Harz and a garage parking space for my motorcycle was included without asking and free of charge.I would come back if I go to the Harz again.

Nice little hotel where dogs are also welcome.A very great location and you can quickly get to the forest. It's worth a visit with or without a dog. 😉The room doors are just a bit thin, which makes it a bit noisy. But this didn't really bother us.
