We stayed with Conny for a long weekend. A small, cute guesthouse, lovingly designed rooms, the breakfast was delicious and very sufficient. Conny serves her guests with a lot of dedication and Schierke is always worth a visit. Very nice and friendly people everywhere. We would love to come back. Thank you Connie.

This year we were guests at this great accommodation for the Walpurgis Spectacle in Schierke...!Booking and contact in advance was very friendly and uncomplicated…On the day of arrival we were personally welcomed and given lots of information about leisure activities, ideas and sights in the region!The breakfast was really great, varied, we were looked after very much… every wish was virtually read from our lips….The accommodation was super clean and always tidy, the shower was always warm and everything was just great!In addition, the warm manner of our hostess really impressed us!Thanks also to the nice assistant who, like Conny, was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back, highly recommended!

We spent three great days in March at the Drei Elstern guesthouse in Schierke. The hostel is located towards the Brocken exit, the entrance to the Hexenstieg is not far. The guesthouse manager was very friendly and had tips and advice for excursions in the area every day. The relatively low prices for overnight stays with breakfast created a very good price-performance ratio. Clean room, friendly service and a delicious breakfast. Centrally located in the middle of the Harz Mountains. What more could you want? We can definitely recommend this place.

Exceptionally friendly, courteous and service-oriented! TipTop clean and tidy. The rooms are functional and not very large, but bright, comfortable and nice and quiet despite being located right on the main street! Own parking space. Perfect starting point for hiking and biking. The breakfast buffet is delicious, very extensive and fresh! All in all highly recommended!!!

The accommodation has a very good price/performance ratio and is conveniently located for all activities, especially in winter (approx. 5 minutes to the cross-country ski trail). Quiet location despite the main road. Breakfast very good for the price range. The landlady is very hospitable. The rooms are cozy and very tidy. We'll definitely be back!

While looking for a guesthouse directly in Schieke, I came across this one. After a very friendly reservation in advance, we were also warmly welcomed on the day of arrival. The room was sufficient for 3 people and very clean. Nothing was missing. We also really liked the breakfast. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the Harz 😊.

Friendly, courteous innkeepers, but you notice that you have to save money... the same sausage and cheese every day, no bakery rolls, coffee from a thermos. If something ran out you could of course order more, but for a really nice breakfast to start the day it was manageable, certainly enough for one person, but for 95 per night our expectations were a little different.In the town itself you have to reserve the restaurant for the evening, otherwise you'll go to bed hungry. This may be different in the winter months because it is more open, we were there during the autumn holidays.Unfortunately, due to the severe forest dieback, the Harz is no longer as beautiful as it used to be and you could really cry when you see the bare areas. Despite the lack of forest, there are beautiful things to see. We recommend a Brocken trip, the Hermann Cave, Baumann Cave, Wernigerode or Quedlinburg.

Never met such nice and courteous pension employees. There was a birthday surprise (without anyone pointing out the birthday) and the sick friend was pampered in her room! There were lots of tips and a lot of time was taken for every concern. Cozy and delicious breakfast and cozy rooms. The location is perfect for hikes, for example to the Brocken or the Wurmberg. We have finally found our regular guesthouse in Schierke :)

Nice guesthouse and the rooms offer everything you need. Breakfast was great and requests were catered for.The location is great for hiking directly onto the Brocken.The service is great. We were also able to borrow a backpack for the hike. Gladly again at any time

It was the best accommodation we could have had. Very, very nice hosts. Everything wonderful!! Great breakfast, with warm rolls, super nice room. The landlords were always there to help and advise.
