Location not good 3.3 km to the next supermarket. No network and WiFi. The food isn't the best and it's not for everyone. In addition, there are only shared bathrooms with showers that are far too small where you can see everything and where the water doesn't drain.

The hostel is located just outside the town of Mirow. The house is well run and very well maintained. The people on site are very friendly and accommodating, and uncomplicated solutions are usually found for special challenges.The area offers many opportunities for water hiking or other outdoor activities. A canoe rental station is located right next to the hostel site.

Was there with a tent and bike for one night. I really, really liked it. Incredibly friendly staff, very helpful. Breakfast great, kitchen staff also very nice, location ok, so: I say thank you for the good time!

Was here with the boys for a few days vacation. Are still under 18, which is why it has become a youth hostel. It was probably the last time... Not great expectations, but still disappointing. Typical youth hostel rooms (had better ones, even in youth hostels), toilet is so high that we (all 180cm+) couldn't sit properly. Worst WiFi I've ever had and also complete dead zone. Our food was by no means as rich as described and was rather disgusting. The crowning glory was bloody grilled pork. However, the leisure facilities at the hostel are highly recommended. The staff was also very nice.

We have been to youth hostels many times as a family. This time we were in Mirow.The location is idyllic on the lake with a jetty and adjacent forest. Canoe and bike rentals are available directly on site. A great starting point for all activities. The area is spacious and we felt comfortable. There are table tennis tables, beach ball field, soccer goal, campsite, barbecue area...We stayed in bungalow number 4, separate from the main house. The main house is very modern and beautifully furnished. We didn't like our bungalow that much. It could be modernized again and fly screens against the many mosquitoes on the lake would be great.Otherwise we had nothing to complain about. The staff was always super friendly and helpful.A VERY SPECIAL PRAISE GOES TO THE KITCHEN! We have never experienced such good, fresh, delicious meals in any youth hostel. The breakfast buffet is rich, perfect huge selection. The dinner is freshly cooked and really delicious. There is always a dish for meat eaters and one for vegetarians. There is always a large selection of fresh salads with lots of ingredients to put together yourself. Also a delicious dessert. As soon as something is almost empty, it will be refilled again. One evening there was a fresh charcoal barbecue outside. The kitchen staff were always in a good mood and very, very friendly. Thanks for that.We would like to thank you for the pleasant stay at Mirow Youth Hostel!

We were there with a large group. Check-in and check-out everything went smoothly. Friendly staff, large area.Breakfast was good. Rooms are also good and were clean.

There were two of us with the tent.Many, many thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the kitchen. The food was rich, varied and delicious. The campsite still has room for improvement. The showers and washrooms in the basement of an adjoining building quickly become overcrowded when canoe groups arrive. The door to the caretaker's building on the edge of the campsite that kept banging loudly was very annoying when we were camping. Please remedy this with little effort!

Beautifully landscaped. Not for partygoers. Nature all around you, anyone who appreciates that kind of thing will love this youth hostel. Please note, this is only open seasonally. Reservation is recommended. WiFi is also available.

The youth hostel in Mirow is secluded and quiet in the countryside and has direct access to the water.The building is a bit older but it is wonderfully beautiful and bright. The rooms are spacious and clean. The toilets and showers are also very clean. The heaters worked perfectly to respond to another guest's review.All employees at the reception, in the dining room and elsewhere on site were friendly and helpful at all times.The food is ok. The packed lunch had too many sugary foods for my taste. You have to pay for the campfire per child. Actually, I assume a campfire is free! Too bad!By the way, it's a 20-minute walk to the nearest supermarket!
