I stayed at MiniHotel in Gyhum for one night at the end of July. I visited my husband, who was in the rehabilitation clinic there. We had a double room together.From booking by phone to checking in, everything was done very quickly and easily 👍🏻The double room was very spacious and equipped with nice furniture. The red and white checked bed linen reminded me positively (childhood memories)to my parents' weekend cottage in the Eifel. The TV could have been a little bigger, because it was a little too small to watch TV from the bed.All in all, a nice room to visit your loved one in the rehabilitation clinic in Gyhum and to stay overnight on site.Not to be forgotten is the great and beautifully designed entrance hall with billiards, table football and a large table, which is definitely a nice place to sit.

Shower tray in the bathroom was very, very slippery. Great risk of falling! There was also no storage space for glasses or wash bags in the bathroom. A small stool could help here. The towels had no hanging loops and there were only 2 hooks (one of which was broken). There was also no doormat in front of the shower, which made the floor wet and slippery. Danger of falling! The friendliness and trust of the landlord can be reported positively.

Price-performance ratio is good, but different from the homepage, no breakfast. The rooms are spacious and clean. Only in my shower was a shower door slat loose, the suspension for the shower head broken, the shower head apparently calcified, the water, after a long lead time, tolerably warm and the flow rather low. But that was definitely only the case in “my” room. Definitely recommended for a few overnight stays.

The mini in “mini-hotel” probably means minimalist. The room was clean. Showering was only possible in the morning. In the evening there was no more warm water. The room hadn't seen any renovations in a long time either. The only window was fogged up between the panes - and had been for a very long time. And: Light on - and after a long wait it slowly becomes bright. Ancient fluorescent lamps. I don't even want to know what was under the carpet. So I don't recommend it.

I stayed there for 8 weeks for work Aug. September and October 2015. The owner was very nice and his dog was a dream, the guesthouse was very clean and cozy, I felt very comfortable.

Not so quiet neighborhood. Room with shower and toilet, but no soap or shampoo. Old mattresses. No breakfast. Not exactly recommended.
