Campsite with many permanent pitches. There are 9 camper pitches outside the campsite across the road with electricity. Very quiet. Beautiful region for walking and cycling. We were very well received, friendly people. Sanitary facilities very clean.

Without a prior reservation, I had no chance of getting a RV parking space. There was still space on the pitch meadow the size of a sports field.

This campsite is recommended! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. The pitches are large and very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are very good and always clean. There are also a lot of long-term campers there and we noticed them in a positive way because of their friendly nature. A lovely week that certainly wasn't the last.

I had reserved 2 days at the beginning of July for the beginning of September. Wanted to go to the Düsseldorf camping fair. But now the visit to the trade fair was no longer necessary and we had bought a caravan externally. So the trade fair tickets were booked back, no problem.Contacted the campsite about cancellation, no response.A week later again with a request for confirmation. Then came a cancellation notice.A week later I asked again about my deposit. The following wording comes: "... as you can see from our terms and conditions, if you cancel, 50% of the agreed usage fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. This corresponds to your €22.50."True. It basically says that for reservations and cancellations "up to 2 days before the appointment" (i.e. theoretically also 1 year before) 50% of the rental price is due.Well, in earlier times this was called highway robbery, if this is legally okay today, at least in my opinion it is not okay and everyone who makes a reservation there should know this and should not have to be informed of the fine print.I've been camping for over 40 years now and have never experienced anything like this.If the cancellation had been refused, I would have even rescheduled my vacation and stayed at Grascamp, but in a case like this, where the small print is only pointed out after the 2nd email, I would rather take the remaining 50% somewhere else and wish the Grascamp GmbH have fun with the deposit.

This is our second time here and we can only recommend this parking space in front of the campsite. Here you have endless space with everything you need as a camper. You stand here with your motorhome on approx. 80 m2 on a very well-kept lawn with an open view of the hedge approx. 100 m away.Electricity, supplies and disposal are of course available. The owners, the van de Weyer family, are very nice and helpful. From here you can start great bike tours. And the dog feels right at home too.. . . and there is also a small restaurant here - and if it is closed there are two great alternatives at Lake Venekoten, about 2 km away. What more could you want as a camper?

We were on the pitch for the first time over the long weekend on May 1st, 2023 and thought it was great. Well maintained and very large pitches of approx. 80 m2 including electricity.Toilet, shower and V/E on the campsite.Very nice and friendly operators - the van de Weyer family.Great area for hiking and cycling tours. Very, very quiet and pure nature. We will always be happy to go there again. But many other motorhome enthusiasts and nature lovers probably think so too, because all the parking spaces were occupied - that's why a reservation is strongly recommended - which I will now make again in July 2024.
