We stayed at the Ablingerhof for 5 nights and were absolutely thrilled! Everything was wonderful and the Bauer family is a very, very friendly and open-minded family.We would love to come back!

We spent a wonderful eight days as a family at the Ablingerhof. The farm is in a wonderfully quiet location in the green, but not too far from shopping opportunities. We felt very comfortable and welcome from the start. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating, Mrs. Bauer takes the time to explain everything to the children and the children can go into the stable to pet the rabbits or look after the ponies and the horse. The pony riding was definitely a big highlight. We were able to experience a bread baking workshop with Ms. Bauer. The children were able to bake bread with her and make their own butter and spread, which was very educational and delicious. The rooms and the entire yard are very clean and extremely well maintained. The breakfast is delivered fresh to your door every morning after ordering and is very fresh and delicious. Lake Chiemsee can be reached quickly by car, and we particularly liked the beach in Übersee. There are also many hiking and cycling trails nearby, so there is plenty to do. But we also particularly enjoyed spending time on the farm and relaxing here. We would come back at any time.

Our family had the pleasure of spending a wonderful few days at the Ablingerhof in Bavaria and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location of the farm is picturesque, surrounded by rolling hills and wide meadows - a perfect place for a family holiday.As soon as we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, which immediately made us feel welcome. The rooms are cozy, clean and lovingly furnished, ideal for a family with children. We particularly liked the child-friendly facilities and the large playground, which kept our children busy for hours.There was a wide selection of fresh, regional products that gave us a strong start to the day every morning. The children especially loved the homemade bread and jams. For us parents, coffee on the terrace with a view of the beautiful landscape was also a daily highlight.The Ablingerhof is also an ideal starting point for family trips. There are numerous hiking trails in the area that are also suitable for children. We were also able to visit some nearby attractions, which made our stay even more varied.We particularly appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere that characterizes the farm. Here we were able to really switch off as a family and enjoy nature. Our children loved watching the animals on the farm and experiencing the freedom of the countryside. Our daughter really enjoyed the time with Peachy and Nelly (both ponies).We can only warmly recommend the Ablingerhof to any family who would like to spend a relaxed, nature-loving holiday in Bavaria. Our vacation at the Ablingerhof was simply fantastic! From the first minute we felt at home. The warm hospitality of the entire Bauer family and the idyllic location of the farm made our stay an unforgettable experience.The farm offers a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Rolls, pretzels, etc. were delivered every morning and homemade jam and dairy products could be purchased in the farm shop. The quality of the products was outstanding and you can taste the love and care that goes into making them.For our son, the farm was a paradise. He was allowed to help feed the animals, ride ponies, drive the tractor and even lend a hand in the stable.There was also a great playground and lots of green spaces to run around and explore.The area around the farm invites you to go on wonderful hikes and bike rides. We enjoyed the breathtaking scenery and the peace that one finds in nature. Particularly noteworthy is the cleanliness and maintenance of the entire area - everything is very well maintained and lovingly designed.The accommodations are also excellent. Our holiday apartment was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The view from the terrace of the wide fields and forests was a particular highlight every morning.In summary, our stay on the farm was an absolute hit. The perfect mix of relaxation, nature and a family atmosphere did us all so much good. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a break from everyday life.Many thanks to the Bauer family for this wonderful time!

We visited the Ablingerhof for the second time with our children in April and were once again thrilled by the beautiful, clean holiday apartment, the great service, the variety of activities for children and the warmth of the Bauer family. We'll definitely be back!

Parking spaces right in front of the door, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It's a dream for children: there is a small soccer field, a trampoline, a hands-on farm and many other activities. The host family is very nice, the vacation there was PERFECT!

We traveled with the entire family over Easter 2023. The farm is beautifully situated and the entire property is extremely well maintained. Ms. Bauer is very nice and polite and explains everything to the children patiently and nicely.The children can feed the animals, ride a pony or a larger horse. For example, we baked our own bread there with Mrs. Bauer.Beautiful there for both children and adults. We all felt totally comfortable.There is also a bread roll service, where fresh and delicious rolls are brought to you in the morning if you order them the day before.We'll definitely be back.

I love the Bauer family farm! The perfect place for every nature lover to linger, dream and pause. Whether hiking directly from the farm to your own alpine pasture, swimming in Lake Chiemsee or cycling, there is something for everyone here.We enjoy coming back every year, even at different times of the year if possible.No matter which apartment, they are all perfectly maintained, nicely furnished and the farm's own products (eggs, milk, bread, etc.) are very tasty.

A courtyard like a light fortress. So beautiful that your jaw will drop. There's no such thing in fairy tales or children's books. But for real. I feel humbled when I see a residential and commercial building like this. Built with so much heavy craftsmanship and still radiant! Thanks and loud applause to the owners!

A very well-kept, beautifully landscaped yard with a great view. Ideal as a starting point for hikes and other activities. Super clean apartment. Regional, homemade, delicious products on the farm, great offers for children. The Bauer family is very warm and very nice. A wonderful place for vacation! Absolutely recommended!

The Ablingerhof is the ideal holiday destination for relaxation or an active holiday in the region around Lake Chiemsee. We felt very comfortable here, were warmly welcomed and left with the firm intention of coming back.On the one hand, the location allows for active activities through numerous hiking and cycling trails, but also relaxation through the thermal baths in the surrounding towns. And if none of this is possible in one day, spending time on the farm with the many animals (ponies, cows, rabbits and the odd cat) is also highly recommended. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and friendly, offer help and advice and strive to offer a unique holiday experience. There is also a lot on offer for children and it provides a unique insight into local agriculture (not just for children).An absolute recommendation.
