Many thanks to the super relaxed and lovely team at Ahoi Camp for our wonderful girlfriends weekend! We stayed in the Schwedenhaus Paula and the house was really cute😍Beautiful beds, crisp bed linen and towels, casual accessories, simple and tasteful, like everything the people at Ahoi Camp have redesigned. The seat cushions, the dishes... Just beautiful. How pretty it will be after the promised makeover in winter🤩There were three of us and we had tons of space. The upper floor (be careful, the stairs are quite steep, be careful with older people and small children!) has two rooms, one with a double bed 140x200cm and one with a bunk bed 90x200cm. Windows with fly screens for relaxed ventilation👍For additional guests there is a sofa bed from Ikea downstairs with a real mattress in 140x200cm, Vimle or Kivik, i.e. a real bed.The kitchen is equipped with a large dining table and everything (but be careful, there are salt and pepper mills, but they are empty. Be sure to bring basics such as oil, salt, pepper, spices and sugar from home!)In addition, there is a feast for the eyes from the terrace with a rustic wooden table, white metal chairs and a garden sofa, Swedish summer freshness with a lake view. Auxiliary expression🥰But then unfortunately comes the big downer; Anyone who rents here should never forget that they are on a campsite, especially in the Bulli and Motorhome paradise, and in front of the house and directly under the terrace are the vehicle paths for the entire site and the sought-after hanging areas to which the Vehicles have to be maneuvered up.Thanks to self-service check-in at the barrier, you are in the front row for parking and parking all day long, which severely limits the quality of life on the terrace. We often sat in a cloud of exhaust fumes while we ate and at some point I was just fed up with it.Too bad. Then you'd rather not have a lake view, but just a bit of peace and quiet in the most beautiful part of the house.I would have liked to have dug up the house and moved it to a more peaceful place. Paula really doesn't deserve that.To be fair, the Ahoy Camp didn't mess up the location, Paula just inherited them.Overall, the place is more for drivers, with public transport it is quite difficult to get there without a taxi, which means walking 7km from Kleinzerlang or 6km from Prebelow-Grünplan (delicious federal road) or renting a canoe and paddling from Kleinzerlang across the small Pälitzsee.Swimming is nice at the wide, flat and clean bathing area at the small Labussee in Canow, from the large tent meadow along the Rübenacker it is a nice hike of about 3km on a dirt road and then a cycle path. The swimming area on site is small and quite cloudy thanks to extensive motorboat traffic. The location on the lake ensures that the course is fresh overall, which was a real blessing on this hot September weekend. Blue hour at the lake is also unbeatable❤️In theory, there would also be a spectacular starry sky. Unfortunately, despite the clear new moon night, we could only see the Milky Way from the house; the lanterns on the meadow and along the paths were too scattered. That's why: On clear nights, be sure to get down on the jetty with a headlamp (unfortunately I'm no longer sure-footed enough for that) and look at the stars! And take a blanket with you and lie down, otherwise you'll get a stiff neck😉Overall, the Ahoi team has already turned the old campsite into an absolute gem. With the raft sauna and Swedish house makeover, it's definitely going to be awesome next season. I'm super excited😊!
