We spent 4 days at the campsite at the Fellbergbaude. Despite the rainy days, the place was well attended, but it was still very quiet. If you are looking for a quiet place far away from “civilization” and close to nature, this is the right place for you. Very friendly owners, one thing is certain: we will be back. Thanks

A beautiful little town in the middle of the Thuringian Forest. We spent a weekend there with the whole family and we really enjoyed it. . The sani house is up to date and well maintained. Very friendly owners ;)

A small but very beautiful and, above all, quiet campsite located in the middle of the forest, on a slate plateau that is now beautifully green. The square is partially surrounded by ancient, overgrown slate heaps from the Griffelbruch in the background of the building. If you like solitude, this is the right place for you. Endless hiking and cycling. Free choice of seating, top clean washroom and toilet. Electricity connection is only available in an emergency, but it is of no interest to us. Chemical toilet cannot be disposed of, nature reserve! Fresh water available. We were very satisfied, friendly place operators, self-service drinks are also available. Barbecue area, benches etc. available.We'll definitely be back.Bungalows are still rented, we only saw the outside, it looks good. The access is a 3 km partly steep forest path. Anyone who makes noise and parties until they drop in the middle of the forest and nature reserve of the national GeoPark is completely wrong here.

It's still an insider tip! More pure nature is not possible. The service building, toilets and showers are new. There are still very few pitches with electricity. It's best to ask beforehand! The place is almost 800m above sea level. You don't hear any human environmental influences.

A beautiful, quiet place with incredibly nice, relaxed hosts. Always on hand with good tips and stories. Very clean, new, lovingly designed place that invites you to linger. Lemonade and beer are available and you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the starry sky around the campfire. It was a wonderful time and we would love to come back.

Fantastic location! Even the journey along the dirt road on the motorbike was an experience. We received a warm and friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities were modern and very clean. As a special highlight, we were able to build a small campfire. My buddy and I will definitely come back.

I can only recommend it. Very nice local people. From booking to the end of the holiday, very good support and advice. Our dog was also very welcome. What more could you want? Were there over the weekend at the beginning of December, so there was snow too. Super nice... thank you very much. We'll definitely come back.

A place of peace in nature.Drinks such as beer, shandy, lemonade, mulled wine and children's punch are lovingly available outside for hikers, skiers and other visitors.

Very nice area. At the Fellbergbaude there is a refrigerator with drinks for self-service for a donation. There is also coffee.
