Dear Lars,We were able to enjoy your hospitality, commitment and great cuisine after a strenuous day tour on the Rennsteig.You had us picked up (saved us from the thunderstorm) and brought us back to the starting point of the next tour the next morning.We couldn't celebrate our two-year anniversary better in the evening on your terrace.You are a lasting memory.All the best to you and your place of peace.We experienced how welcome you can feel.THANKS

Very nice guesthouse. The boss manages himself. Breakfast is manageable but tasty and the honey is homemade. Price performance is good. We will be back.....

Super warm welcome from the host Lars. Very nice room, delicious food (half board). Very good location for walks and hikes as well as a starting point for excursions. Great conversations with you, always great tips (e.g. Dolmar airport). Highlight your commitment to your job and to animals and the environment. Very tasty 😋 honey. It was a great vacation with you.

Very nice guesthouse and well maintained!Mr. Dietsch is always concerned about the well-being of his guests and is very friendly.We will definitely come back and can definitely recommend Pension Böhm to families with children!

Absolutely recommendable guesthouse with a very committed owner.We stayed there for one night as part of a motorcycle tour.The operator even offered us a dry parking space.The room was completely fine for the price. Dinner and breakfast were simple but extremely good.We had a very pleasant stay.

The Pension Böhm is beautifully located in the Thuringian Forest. From there you can go on many beautiful excursions. The food was very good, as was the price-performance ratio. Lars is an excellent host who responds individually to the wishes of his guests. He always has an open ear.

We warmly welcomed our dog. He immediately explained to us where the drinks were and also where our table was for the next few days. Lars gave lots of hiking tips and even gave a private concert in the town church in Schmalkalden. He responded to requests for food if necessary We wanted something different to eat. Breakfast and the food he prepared was very tasty. He should keep it up. We'll be there again. We've recovered really well.

We can describe the Pension Böhm, in the beautifully located Floh Seligental, as a highlight on our Rennsteig tour. Starting from the very friendly booking by phone to setting off the next day.Mr. Dietsch welcomed us with welcoming and warm words, showed us everything, and offered drinks, so that we immediately felt at home in this very clean guesthouse. The delicious dinner was prepared and served by him. The breakfast buffet was also appealing and plentiful. We enjoyed it.We were very surprised and of course pleased when we were asked to take provisions for the next hike with us free of charge.We've never experienced anything like this before. The offer to drive us the approx. 7 km to Ebertswiese the next day was also a great service, which we were of course happy to take advantage of.A big thank you to the Dietsch family. We will definitely recommend you to others.Keep it up, hiking and stopping off are fun.Janine and Petra wish you all the best for the future

Very cozy guesthouse in a quiet location. The owner was very nice and attentive. There is an educational bee trail in the immediate vicinity where you can learn interesting things about bees and beekeeping.

I visited Pension Böhm during a week of hiking with my dog through the Thuringian Forest. This guesthouse was my absolute highlight. I received a very friendly welcome and was immediately offered coffee or tea (there is a machine that is accessible all day) and shown where chilled drinks are available. The room was very spacious, very nicely decorated and the bathroom was also great. Everything very clean. The forest begins near the house, there is an educational bee trail and a green classroom, as well as a small display enclosure with sika deer. All of these facilities were built and maintained by the owner of Pension Böhm, Lars Dietsch. In the evening you can choose a tasty dish that Mr. Dietsch, who also learned to be a chef, prepares himself, taking the guests' wishes into account. The breakfast buffet is extensive and I was even asked to take provisions with me for my next hike. It couldn't be better, I'd love to come back. Thank you very much!

“After a wonderful day of hiking in the Thuringian Forest, I was welcomed by Lars in a very nice and warm way.Lars is also the chef here and served an absolutely delicious dinner.The sauna was small and nice. During breaks to sweat, I enjoyed the light of the sunset right in front of the house.The breakfast was good and invigorating for the upcoming hiking stage on the Rennsteig, to which Lars spontaneously shuttled me.It was a really nice, special stay!Thank you, dear Lars!”

Thank you for the wonderful stay. Nothing was missing. Pick up 🚘 from Ebertswiese, best dinner, nice conversations, delicious breakfast and clean rooms. Our Theo 🐕 also really liked it. We'd love to come back again.
