A very nice campsite right on the river. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Here you can even go to the toilet and take a shower.The location is close to delicious restaurants. You can also get to the train station and Edeka quickly. There is comfortable seating. You feel good. We always like to come back when the Altmühl Paddle Tour is coming up.

Very nice and quiet campsite in great surroundings and with a beautiful view.Owner and staff very friendly. Sanitary facilities were clean and well maintained during our visit.There are also camping barrels and tent sites. Children's playground is also there.The campsite is located directly on the Altmühl and has a mooring for boats/kayaks.Were there in October 2024.

Beautiful campsite directly on the Altmühl, with a dock for canoes.Very friendly operating family!Edeka is just around the corner, snack and drinks vending machines on the square. Campfire pit available.Modern sanitary facilities, the showers could be cleaner (gullies, partitions). A clear negative point is the electricity price 1.10 euros connection, 95 cents per unit

A very nice campsite. Well maintained and well equipped. Sanitary facilities top. Always clean and well equippedBeautifully landscaped. Staff friendly and helpful. Access a bit strange. If you don't recognize it right away, it's a beautiful door arch. Seems tight. But it worked. We can only recommend the place and will definitely come back again.

Nice little place on the Altmühl, clean sanitary facilities, uncomplicated service, with green meadow for tents and several fire pits. The drinks machine is also great, dogs are welcome.

Great campsite, absolutely nice operators. I stayed for a week because everything is perfect here. Large spaces, top sanitary facilities, shopping around the corner. Beautiful bike paths and hiking trails. I was thrilled.🤙

We arrived on Saturday, friendly welcome but campsite super busy, a lot of noise and messy. Fortunately, it became a lot quieter on Sunday and we had a wonderful time here. Super clean sanitary facilities!! Beautiful on the river. Very different places which determine how you experience camping.

This small but nice campsite is located in the idyllic Dollnstein in the middle of nature on the Altmühl with its own boat dock. It leaves nothing to be desired. 3 snack machines are available You will also find very clean camping barrels with a table and benches and comfortable beds. A bakery, butcher and a pizzeria are just a few meters away on foot. Highly recommended.

Overall, a fairly small campsite, little comfort, very small sanitary facilities with poor ventilation (although obviously newly renovated), access to the Altmühl is nice (boat dock can be used for swimming.What mainly caused me to give a bad rating is that the owner goes absolutely below the belt when there are discrepancies and even threatened to evict us (because he forgot to save our license plate and we asked someone because we couldn't come in at lunchtime). had to open the barrier from the other side, and because I still arrived despite the original cancellation due to my son's illness and there were misunderstandings).I've been camping at least once a year since I was a small child and have never experienced being treated like this by the campsite operator.

We traveled with our residential semi-trailer in the Altmühltal and landed at this beautiful campsite in Dollnstein. We were warmly welcomed and spent a great week here. Yesterday we had stockerl fish and that rounded off the stay. Super clean sanitary rooms, very well-kept place and right on the Altmühl. Very humane prices and also affordable for families. We'll definitely come back.
