Customer friendliness is not a priority here! You try to find a solution over the phone after problems arose when booking with Booking and the landlord behaves like a small child on the phone. The phone call is simply canceled by Mr. Skott after a minute! Please don't expect a cooperative host, as they don't exist here...

Lovely castle set in the countryside. A lot of atmosphere and we had a comfy and clean doubleroom. Nice strolls with the dog, very friendly host. Close to little charming Wemding with several restaurants. Better check them for days that are closed though.

Friendly and helpful, interior and breakfast fine.But the immediate area is a construction site and junkyard. Photos from the website gloss over the facts and are misleading. The lake could only be used as a pretty view in 2021.The service is more like a bed and breakfast and not a hotel.Card payments not possible, WiFi only works in the breakfast room, payment receipt is withheld.The room on the first night was a small single room with a double bed. The room for the following two nights was spacious and nicely furnished.

Beautiful castle, you feel like you have been transported back in time, with sufficient comfort. Great and nice host, wonderful view and landscape!The breakfast with a view of the lake, *stunning*. Only recommended.

We were very satisfied and felt warmly welcomed by Mr. Skot. He tried very hard to make our stay pleasant.The breakfast and the cleanliness could still be worked on a bit ;-) But we would come back at any time.

This was my first overnight stay on a longer bike tour. Very nice castle. Owner very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, quiet and comfortable to sleep in.

Unfortunately the service is absolutely bad. It is advertised on the website as well as on Booking that a late checkout is included on Sundays, but the owner cheekily asked for an extra charge. We booked for 2 nights for business purposes, but our employee didn't stay a single night. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and the shower head didn't even drain water properly. In addition, the wall above the shower was unfortunately completely dirty and it was unreasonable for our employee to stay in this hotel. When we were ready to take over the first night and be reimbursed for the second night, it didn't work either because the staff was not present on site from 8 p.m. and there was no response to emails to date! Very disappointing!

Bad breakfast, cheese ran out, then there was just jam, nothing else. Lasange burnt, tasteless, but good. Beer was out and no new one was brought in the next day. In the double room, an extra 70 euros was charged for the 88 euro double room for a second person because an extra bed was supposedly organized in the room. But there was only one double bed in this very small, cold room. The invoice was sent because a receipt wasn't even possible, but the invoice only said 36 euros. Never again

Clean, very good hard bed. It's cold in the castle, Bag is modern, heating is bad, you can't have dinner here. Breakfast is good.
