We were guests here for the baptism of our daughter. The agreement was great. Great ideas, good organization and exchange. You could even put up your own decorations outside of opening hours the day before. The price/performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. The service is first class and attentive. The food and drinks are really delicious! There is something for both meat lovers and vegetarians. We'd love to come back any time!

Very nice Straußwirtschaft/wine bar with a good selection of food and wine. Very friendly hosts. A slightly different kind of self-service. It would be nice if you could pay for all the food and drinks together at the end. The concept has now been changed and it is now an upscale bar/restaurant called Tafelstein. Food and wine are still of very good quality. However, the pricing of Piffchen wine should be reconsidered and adjusted downwards. Otherwise highly recommended.

Ambiance? Very good! Eat? Some of the best pasta I've ever eaten! Why four and not five stars? The waiting time was unacceptable. 45 minutes for the starter salad, after just under two hours the main course. As I said, great pasta! But pasta! The second dish was tarte flambée. This shouldn't take two hours...

We went there for dinner as a couple. The ambience is nice, although the thoroughfare in the courtyard is annoying. The waitresses were very accommodating. My pasta was very tasty. My husband had boiled beef, but the meat wasn't cooked through. The drinks prices are way overpriced. I don't think 7.50 euros is appropriate for a glass of wine

We've been there a few times now. And that has it's reason.There are some parking spaces on the street in front of the restaurant. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel that it is not a classic ostrich restaurant.The restaurant is furnished with love and the service is excellent. Everything we have eaten there so far has been very good. Also the wines.As mentioned, it's above the level of a simple wine bar. This is of course also reflected in the price. However, the price-performance ratio is right here.So if you like friendly service and love delicious food with excellent wines, this is the right place for you.Keep it up Restaurant “Tafelstein”

A wonderful ambience is rounded off by very charming service (thanks Florian!!) and a gifted chef + passionate young chef... keep it up! Food takes on a different meaning for you - all your senses are stimulated. And the boss is also very accommodating and completes the rest with a stylish eye.

I am now a regular guest. Whether for business or pleasure, the food is great, the service is warm and professional. Whenever we accommodate guests, everyone is thrilled. Was there again last night... and like every time: great.Lots of activity, yet super friendly and attentive service, food more than delicious... and the crème brûlée, wow... with our own strawberry ice cream and strawberry tart, soooooo delicious... Were here for the first time today! The ambience and the cleanliness 👍TopThe volume was extremely unpleasant! We didn't dare talk to each other at all 😪 and the bench was very uncomfortable to sit on!The service was a bit slow or simply overwhelmed! Or you had the feeling that regular guests were better served! It's a shame because I think every customer should feel comfortable! I also found it a shame that there were no menus as that was actually the main reason for coming to Tafelstein. A whole skin portion of everything would have been too much. The food was very nicely prepared and tasted good, but it took a long time!Unfortunately the parking situation wasn't so good. We had to look for a parking space for 15 minutes!

We were there for breakfast on Sunday. The guest room was full (wedding guests), so it was quite loud. In "normal" operation it is definitely better.Very nice symbiosis between old (quarry stone walls) and new found, the color scheme in the room is unobtrusive in muted brown and gray tones.The host gave us a friendly welcome and explained everything.The buffet is small but nice. Everything your breakfast heart desires is there. There are also small jars of dressed salads - which are constantly changing. Depending on the season, always fresh and regional. Everything was very tasty!The rolls were fresh and not discount products. Scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon were always brought fresh. Coffee (thermos on the table) and tea as well as juice are included. Sparkling wine and coffee specialties are extra.At 23.50 euros, the price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. The products were high quality, the atmosphere is very appealing, and the service was attentive and friendly.We will come visit you soon in the evening.

Very good food and delicious wines. Friendly and attentive service. Extremely good price-performance ratio. The decor is modern and stylish. The acoustics in the restaurant are unpleasantly loud, even if not all tables are occupied. The surrounding bench is not particularly deep and is as uncomfortable as a beer tent set. This bench is by far the most uncomfortable of its kind. I want to sit comfortably in an upscale restaurant. Food, drink and service are really top. The atmosphere suffers from the noise in the dining room and the very uncomfortable bench.

A true gem in Rheinhessen! We were completely impressed by the Stallmann-Hiestand winery in Uelversheim. The guest house offers a perfect mix of homely comfort and modern luxury.The restaurant is a dream for connoisseurs. We enjoyed the sunset from the cozy terrace with a delicious wine and a delicious menu. Particularly noteworthy is the uncomplicated yet upscale atmosphere - you feel welcome here in both jeans and a suit.A highlight was the wine tasting, which we were able to experience as part of our stay yesterday, Sunday, with cool music and delicious food in the courtyard or tasteful garden. The hosts are incredibly warm and know how to celebrate Rhenish Hesse hospitality.We will definitely be back and recommend this wonderful winery to anyone looking for a romantic break and excellent food. Thank you for the unforgettable days!

Last week we went on a bike tour with the family and stayed overnight there. The rooms are wonderfully modern, new and comfortably furnished. The breakfast was very tasty and varied. And above all, we were welcomed with a lot of warmth. So a very clear recommendation.

The last week in the guest house was very nice - we would love to come back! Very attentive service and delicious regional food both in the guest house and in the restaurant. The interplay of historical and timeless architecture creates a unique atmosphere. The wine hikes in the surrounding area are diverse and the nearby cities of Frankfurt, Worms and Mainz are also worth a day trip.
