Nice little hotel. A bit old but clean and with nice staff. Perfect starting point for running and hiking routes. Breakfast buffet was sufficient and there was something for everyone. See you next year.

Nice rooms. However, very small. The employee at reception was very friendly. Unfortunately, the employees don't actually keep their stated opening times for the sun terrace. One evening we wanted to have a drink after a tiring day of hiking, but the specified opening time until 9 p.m. was not kept. There was nothing to drink after 8 p.m. and all the lights were off. The indoor pool is small, a little old, and we were unlucky that we couldn't use it one evening. That was a shame, because the fact that there is an indoor swimming pool was one of our priority booking criteria. Breakfast was okay. But for the price of the night's stay we are used to a higher quality breakfast

We stayed at the Hotel Bichlhof with our family (5 adults and a toddler) and two dogs. We had three room types that were clean. The bathrooms in the single and double rooms are clean, but a bit older, which didn't bother us. The bathroom in the suite has already been renovated.We received a warm welcome, the service was great and restaurants and a supermarket were within walking distance. Dogs are also allowed in the dining room at breakfast, but we didn't use this service.The breakfast left nothing to be desired, even fresh fried eggs and special coffee requests were fulfilled. My husband thanks me for spelled rolls in the morning, which were especially available for him because he cannot tolerate wheat. In the low season the prices for the rooms are very fair.The swimming pool is great for cooling off after hikes, but we don't use the sauna. At the hotel we were able to enjoy the food we had brought with us on the terrace until 7:30 p.m. Cold drinks were available at the hotel.Reit im Winkl offers great excursion destinations and lakes in the surrounding area, and the proximity to Austria is great.We recommend the hotel without reservation!

Family hotel that has the typical Bavarian charm. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff is friendly and very accommodating! Location is centrally optimal. 5 minutes walk to the center of town! And you can start hiking straight away!We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back!

The hotel itself was very nice.But wellness hotel is a bit far-fetched. There was a small sauna with a small swimming pool, which was also very nice.The breakfast buffet was very rich. It tasted wonderful and there was something for everyone.PS: If you want to go to dinner in town, you should be in the local restaurants by 7 p.m. at the latest. After that it becomes difficult to find something to eat.

We stayed at the Bichelhof for three nights with the whole family. The hotel is already in its second generation and is therefore of course not a new building. The furnishings are made with lots of real wood in an Alpine style. The rooms have been renovated (new floors, beds, pictures), the bathrooms are still in their original condition but completely functional.The swimming pool is absolutely sufficient for the size of the hotel. The water could be a bit warmer for small children, but it was ideal for swimming. We also used the sauna and everything was to our satisfaction.I would particularly like to highlight the innkeepers. Ms. and Mr. Härtinger are extremely friendly and accommodating. Even though we were there in the low season, our every wish was fulfilled at the breakfast buffet.Price/performance was absolutely right for us. It was a lovely day and we would happily recommend the hotel!

A pleasant, traditional alpine hotel, medium in size. There is even a small sauna and a swimming pool inside. It could be warmer in the pool area, it was quite cold there and the desire to swim was gone. Tasty classic breakfast, large selection. The rooms are neat. Unfortunately, we can hear some noises from the corridor and we even heard the sounds of billiards.

Very nice hotel, with swimming pool and sauna. Rooms bright and friendly furnished, quadruple glazing, the traffic in front of the house is completely ignored!!! The entire staff and also the hotel owners were very friendly and accommodating! The best thing, however, was definitely the morning breakfast buffet. Nothing was missing and if there was, a fix was taken care of immediately!

Perfect location for us. Just a few minutes walk to the town center of Reit im Winkl, where there is everything from cafés, restaurants, drugstores, sports, shoe and clothing stores and much more. The Winklmoosalm ski area, Steinplatte is only about 10 minutes away by car. We'd love to come back in the summer.The room was partly renovated, nice bathroom, great box spring bed. The pool and sauna area have also been partially renovated, but in my opinion there is still potential 😉 Free parking directly in front of the hotel. Attention only breakfast, otherwise no restaurant in the hotel. The hosts are very nice, personable and always try to ensure that everyone doesn't lack anything. The rest of the staff was also very friendly.

We stayed at the Hotel Bichlhof for 3 nights over New Year's Eve and can highly recommend it.Price/performance is totally right.Breakfast is always fresh and the selection is good.Our room was clean and adequately furnished (3-bed room). The balcony with a view of the mountains is highly recommended.Small deduction for the windows/balcony doors that were no longer as tight because it got a bit cold and draughty. A kettle would have been nice with instant coffee.Staff very friendly especially to children.We can recommend the hotel.
