We stayed here for a few nights and were very satisfied! Even though we had not made a reservation, we were literally welcomed with open arms. The Gasthuis is beautifully located, almost right next to the hiking trails and the rooms are neat. Definitely recommended!

I don't actually write reviews. But in this case I'm happy to do it for the hosts Milka and Holger. Neither of them asked me to write anything. I would like to express my thanks to you. We were at Landhaus Gruden with our extended family last weekend. The welcome was as warm as it could be. The rooms are very clean and the premises have been lovingly and comprehensively furnished. We can absolutely recommend this country house. The location is excellent, on the Sommerberg in Bad Wildbad. The forest and the treetop path are in the immediate vicinity. We were there with our dog, who got fresh water right at the entrance to the house. In my opinion you can't go wrong with a stay at this guesthouse.

Just like in a good hotel - only better! Very quiet location. Guests who book a room can use the well-equipped kitchen at any time. Tea bags and coffee pods available free of charge. Spacious room with a large balcony (cleaned daily), plus the possibility of using the loungers in the garden. Bright bathroom, even magnifying mirror and facial tissues are available.

Last visited in 2018. Very cosy and comfortable, made perfect by the owner couple. They cooked our breakfast and even help us on the laundry... can't ask for more !

It was our first time in the Black Forrest area and thankfully we found this wonderful place to stay. The stay was great, the place was beautiful, clean and well furnished.But most of all, the hosts really made the difference! We have rarely experienced such level of hospitality. We literally felt better than at home :). The garden was the best place to relax, whether for a sun bath or for BBQ or for just to relax in the afternoon. And of course you could pick up the fresh blueberries from the garden anytime you want.Highly recommended and we'll for sure return!

A beautiful place to stay in an ideal location in the middle of the Sommerberg. The rooms were very clean and the host and hostess were extremely nice and helpful. They even helped me with my ear infection. A nice place for a few days and even very suitable for a longer holiday. Simply GREAT!!

We had the most wonderful time at the appartment Landhaus Gruden Sommerberg. The hosts, Milka and Holger, are lovely people who took care of us and all of the other guests. They picked us up from the train en brought us to the supermarket. The Landhaus was beautiful and so very quiet and you just walked into the forest and to the baumwimpfelpad and hanging bridge. Also the cabelcar to the centre of Bad Wildbad was very nearby. We had an appartment with a kitchen and a large living and balcony which all were very clean.I will recoment it to everyone!!!
