Nice landlord, great selection at breakfast. Since the Chiemgaucard is included in the price, you can use the buses, some tourist highlights and also mountain railways free of charge. Ideal starting point for hikes and excursions in the area. There were also good excursion tips. Cozy fireplace in the breakfast and lounge room. Would love to come back.

We have been coming to Ruhpolding for many years and always enjoy spending our holidays in this guesthouse near Schneidersepp. The rooms are clean and lovingly furnished, everything you need is there. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has a bit of everything and if something is missing, it is filled up immediately. The hosts are very attentive and you feel like you are in good hands. We would love to come back next year 👍From us a personal thank you to the Hofei's and Mrs. R. Hofmann, together you are a 🫶 great team.

We had a room on the lower floor, the beds were worn out and the slatted frames were completely broken. The house is on a busy street, which is very busy from Monday to Friday and is annoying.For a personal reason we had to cancel our vacation, no accommodation whatsoever, we had to pay for the entire stay.The breakfast is very manageable, luckily the older lady at the house is very nice.

We spent a lovely holiday here. Freshly renovated, spacious rooms, balcony, lovingly furnished house, a good breakfast in the cozy breakfast room, a huge lawn behind the house to relax, the Hofmann family who are friendly to guests. Ruhpolding is within walking distance and a good starting point for many beautiful excursions. Berchtesgaden, Königssee, Chiemsee and Salzburg are easily accessible. Also ideal for biking and hiking. We will come back.

After we watched the horse-drawn sleigh with envy last year, we planned our sleigh ride well in advance this year. We asked our friends to make the reservation back in January. Which she promptly did personally, on site.The weather did put a slight damper on our plans and it would have been a carriage ride instead of a sleigh ride due to the lack of snow. But nevertheless we were in a good mood, arrived at the agreed meeting point on time with our friends and Feuerzangenbowle in our luggage and waited patiently for Mr. Hoffmann. He had expressly pointed out punctuality to us.After half an hour of waiting in vain, we tried to reach him. At first it seemed that he had forgotten the appointment and was therefore driving another troop.But when we later wanted to personally agree with him on an alternative date, he viciously insinuated that we had canceled the appointment?! ... and didn't let anyone talk to him anymore.In my opinion, a 4-hour carriage ride was simply more motivating for him than the 2-hour ride we had booked.It's a shame it ended like this!!!

Several months ago we booked a carriage ride for ourselves and our friends (10 people) for February 18th, 2020 at 12.30 p.m. (we were there in person and again by phone). When I booked, Mr. Hofmann urgently pointed out the punctuality. Our vacation plans were now planned so that we could enjoy this beautiful day together, which we were all really looking forward to. On February 18th, 2020 we showed up at the farm promptly at 12:20 p.m. After 1/2 hour of waiting in vain, we tried to reach Mr. Hofmann. But he was already traveling with another group and would have “forgotten” us. It was very annoying for us, but at that point we were still hoping for some agreement. In the late afternoon we went to the farm again. Now Mr. Hofmann was there personally. After a few short "explanations and insights" he suddenly had ENLIGHTENMENT and "remembered" that we had canceled. Unfortunately, he couldn't tell us when or why. It would have been humane and honest to offer us another date - BUT it defies any description. We are still speechless and extremely disappointed. We will probably never book or take a carriage ride there again.
